  1. About a month ago I got my first Nana, I attached it to a rock, put it in a 5 gallon tank and I dosed it weekly. However, this week they've been slowing dying, I didn't know they needed shade so just today I moved them under some and I have my snails there to clean up the decay. Can someone help analyze what else could've been the problem and How can I help them recover? I'm using Aquarium all in one fertilizer and I have a plant led light for about 8 hours a day.
  2. I’m sorry I’m really excited if this is and it doesn’t look like the usual leaf and idk this just is awesome if it is bc I also just got my first ever shrimplets born and my head is exploding
  3. My plant surprised me with a flower today. Should I leave it growing or is it like other plants I grow where I cut off the flower for the longevity of the plant?
  4. I've had this nana petite for about 2 months now. It recently got covered in diatoms and then I introduced otos who ate the diatoms off but the edges of some leaves still look brown and some leaves have dark spots now. Is that a new algae? a deficiency? Maybe those were gaps in the diatoms and the plant made more chlorophyll there? I tried rubbing the leaves an nothing came off. I googled a bit and I saw a few people with similar problems do a quick bleach dip to remove the algae, but I don't want to do that if this isn't algae.
  5. About two weeks ago I received an Anubias Nana from the COOP. It looked good at first, but it has since shed some leaves and then the remaining leaves started to turn a lighter green and now have yellow parts. I dose with Easy Green and the floating plants are doing great. Any thoughts?
  6. I have a anubias but I can’t identify what type it is and I would like to get more. It is roughly 4 inches wide and has amid of lighter and darker green leaves
  7. I just ordered some Anubias Nana. I like the idea of just dropping it in an easy planter because I would like to move it around, but the easy planters don't really match the decor of my aquarium. Can I just leave it in the pot and bury the pot in the substrate up to the edge? If I need to attach it to a rock, would it work with my black Seiryu Stone?
  8. Really pleased with the way this Anubias nana (petite) turned out. I was worried I had used too much glue when I attached it to the wood in September but after 3 months I can’t see the glue anymore. Perfect height for this 5 gallon tank. The betta loves to perch at the top. This is the plant in September....
  9. I recently got this Anubias Nana from CoOP, it has only been in the tank for little over a day. After work I just saw what was once a leafy anubias to this... I'm still learning, but my tank has a ton of plants. And only a few petites have a few discolored leaves after a week or so. Anubias Nana Petite
