  1. I stopped dosing my largest tank with Easy Green and backed off feedings a bit to try & combat the hair algae issue I have had. After trimming plants its still showing anytime they get longer or near the filter return head. I decided to purchase both Easy Carbon and Easy Iron(to help colors pop more) & was curious what success everyone has had with Easy Carbon while also having a CO2 diffuser working inside? Is it pointless to use the Easy Carbon as I already have CO2 running and should I continue using both Easy Green/start Easy Iron while the hair algae issue is ongoing? Any advice would be appreciated....cheers!
  2. Hello everyone, I had purchased Easy Iron mainly for Bacopa but since it never took off I was wondering if I should still dose with the Easy Iron for the other plants like Amazon Sword, Valisneria, Baby Tears, Water Wisteria and Java Moss. I am using Easy Green 4 squirts 3 times a week in a 20 gallon tank because I never have nitrates, it’s a cycled tank with low stock at the moment.
  3. Effects of dosing all in one, carbon, and iron at same time. I have been doing 3 different intervals starting after water change
  4. I haven't ever had a problem keeping water clear. About two or three weeks ago I started dosing easy iron (less than the bottle says I should because I only have a few red plants) and now my water is yellow/gold. Just wondering if it could be the easy iron and how to remove it if it is. Also it looks like it could be tannins but I'm positive it isn't based on this tank is over three months old and the standing came after using easy iron.
  5. I've been using Seachem Flourish in my 2 nano aquariums for 6 months now. There have been holes developing (low phosphate?) in some of my plants in the larger (10 gal) aquarium over the last month or so. Perhaps I'm not fertilizing often enough. I have rotalla indica, bucephelandra, java fern, java moss, elodia and another medium sized leaf stem plant. The livestock consist of 7 Endlers, 6 neons, 4 chery shrimp and 1 amano. My plants grow just fine, however the r. indica has lost a lot of its red, and the fish seem happy with slow nitrate development between water changes. Should I opt for the Easy Fert Package given my plant species or would Easy Green do me well?
  6. I have a low tech and dosing with Easy Green, I recently got some Ludwigia Ovalis and Ludwigia SP red. If I dose I my tank is running just easy green enough iron? Or should I supplement easy green iron as well?
  7. Would a I need all 3 for Anubias and guppy grass? I already use easy green alone. But will order all 3 if it will help more. Thanks
  8. I am repurposing a tank to be heavily planted. My intent is to keep some or just my breeding pairs of cpo crayfish in it. The dwarf orange crays. Easy iron says it is shrimp and snail safe which is usually what I look for in being cray safe as well. Does anyone have first hand experience or knowledge if the easy line will work with my dwarf cpos? They are my favorite and I would be heartbroken to lose my little dudes. Thank you!!!
  9. I'm converting my tank to a high tech planted. I bought a Fluval 3.0 and CO² system. I didn't want to switch my substrate, so I purchased many Easy Green root tabs for my sand. I also purchased plants that can do well in sand. My question, will the recommended tab replacement time frame still apply, or will I need to replace them sooner? Also, will I need to invest in other fertilizers? I use all Easy Green products and supplement with Seachem Flourish. I don't have Easy Iron though, should I grab it? Thank you.
