    My stocking will be very light for a while. I’m looking at Peapuffers and Rummynose. Yes! That’s what I want a sloped environment I have been doing a lot investigating you’re right people put substrate in plant bags and tested them under top and the water flows right through it!! I forgotten thank you so much!! Im still not sure what substrate to use ~ can I just use plain aquarium gravel?

    I hope my topic makes sense. I need a substrate so I can shape my hill but it really isn’t going to show later on. Does this make sense at all? I have a 20 gallon long.

    Me too! I’m not painting did that for years ~ 55 gallon 125 gallon and I didn’t like it after a while and had to scrape it all off😩😂

    It really was that easy I love it! However mines a bit busy for a tank I think. What do you think? This is all I have a whole roll of it so I thought I’d try it ~ Too bad we couldn’t get a little tiny role of all different colors😂

    I would love to see this!! I saw once where someone’s background made you believe if you followed their path of white sand, it would end in a cave, the background on the tank! It was way cool!

    Brilliant idea! I would’ve never thought of this!! I have some too I should try it. Because painting I can’t ever do that again ~ I change my mind often and it’s a bitch to get off.

    I now remember why I used to paint the back of my tanks because putting on this background is a pain!! I only have a 29 gallon long it fits but it’s curly and it’s shiny I hated shiny, and it won’t stick it is annoying as hell please tell me after all these years there is something, better easier and not shiny😡

    Very informative thank you so much! I have always put everything directly on the substrate or the tank bottom as well. I’ve just been watching some YouTube videos and that is not what they do so I started trippin🤭😂 Ok Widget ~ UGF? Is that Mike a light or something?

    So I was watching a YouTube video but it was not in English and it looks like he put big square pieces of Styrofoam underneath his big rocks Instead of directly on the tank floor. Can you put Styrofoam in water?
