So, hey folks i was planing to convert my bare bottom tank to planted fish tank for my oranda. These are skeches of my 2 plans for the tank. Please tell me which one should i do since i cant choose...So There is this buddha statue common in both as i have ordered and i have some doubts regarding the 1st plan becuase i took this idea from this video so is the substrate correct and the substrate layering? and please tell me the information of plants. You can link the info .... Please tell me what equipments would i require and how do i maintain a planted tank...Perform water changes in the tank....Like do the plants require substrate and which aquascape should i be making ? Please answer my queries in brief i, i will be aquascaping this tank in may month and will check the forums may month so be sure to answer all of my questions, its a request.. Bye

you can see when i siphon some water comes out .... then i put water in the tank .....means kinda daily water changes siphon twice a day and put water in the evening...Do so we have to put water after siphoning because water level decreses .....I have doubt does it affects the water quality or fish health.....Like i have not put water from some days so i am going to put it this evening to increse water level...

How to cycle the tank? I have a baby oranda in 20 gallon .....how to cycle like the shopkeeprr told me cycling a tank is needed for plant tank setup...

My pet goldfish , Red cap oranda brought in november...Used to live in approx. 3 gallons tank because i had no money to buy a Bigger tank. I have shifted him to his new tank...approx.20 gallons on 21/03/22. He is approx. 2-3 months....People are telling me that you should keep more fishes like 10 in this tank...and more fishes but i denied them saying this tank size is appropriate for his growth and i will add no more fishes...is this tank size ok....I have a top filter and how can i decrease its flow rate because it is restricting his swimming like when he swims forward he tends to come backward...Also i have a light ... How long should the lights be on and when should it be on....So becuase of the filter i am using a normal oxygen and he does well....After how many days should water chane be done...shopkeeper told me to do full water changes after a month...As i will use the siphon to clean poop some water will be drained so should i like how can i do regular water changes? And ill be doing 50-70 percent water changes weekly.. As i have kept him in larger tank after few months what should i feed like feeding schedule so he shall be healthy and grow properly... Thankyou
