  1. OK yes. I have some in my isolation tank already that look a bit fuzzy. Thanks very much for your help
  2. Thanks. Do they look different when they're unfertilized?
  3. I've been finding these eggs on my tank walls and bacopa leaves for 4 days running. The first day I scraped them off and put them into an isolation tank thinking they might develop. I'm not sure whether they've been fertilized or from which of my fish they're from. I'm guessing the corys but not sure. Any tips on identifying when they're fertilized and from which species they might be from would be appreciated. I have harlequin rasboras, ember tetras, green rasboras, strawberry rasboras, endlers, bronze corys, cherry shrimp and a bristlenose pleco. Many thanks 🤗
  4. That's a really nice looking tank. I'm interested to hear how you're progressing with this. Do the CPD's leave any eggs in the densely planted parts of the tank and if so do any survive and grow to become adults?
  5. For 6 months I kept schools of Harlequin rasboras and strawberry rasboras in my planted shrimp tanks. I thought they were leaving the shrimplets alone because the populations were steadily growing. However, since moving the rasboras to a community tank the shrimp populations have exploded. Now I see many hundreds of tiny shrimplets swimming around. From my limited experience it seems when shrimp have the tank to themselves their numbers grow 3 times faster than if they share the tank with other species. They breed so fast that even with other species around their numbers will still grow, albeit not as rapidly 🙂
  6. Hello everyone, I've been reading this forum for a few months and decided it's time to participate. Been watching plenty of Aquarium co-op videos over the past year and learned so much. Looking forward to learning and sharing with other members here 😃 I got back into the hobby in 2021 after many years away. Enjoying it way more this time around, especially planted tanks. I've had plenty of free time due to lock downs and less work and have accumulated a few too many tanks over the past year. I currently have a 40g planted tank with harlequin rasboras, green neon rasboras, strawberry rasboras, ember tetras, endler livebearers, bronze corys, one bristlenose pleco and plenty of red cherry shrimp. A 23g planted tank with hundreds of red cherry shrimp. A 16g planted tank with yellow cherry shrimp and a bristlenose pleco. A 10g planted tank with celestial pearl danios and red cherry shrimp. A 23g tank currently used for growing plants and a 12g tank waiting for me to get inspired. Oh and a 5g quarantine tank. Definitely no space in my home for any more tanks, You can see some of my tanks in the video links below. I only decided to give video creation a try 2 weeks ago, very much a novice at this 🙂 Looking forward to learning and sharing with all the passionate and knowledgeable members here. Peace 🍀
