  3. a Parameters: Ph Low 7.6 Ph High 7.4 Ammonia &Nitrite = 0ppm Nitrate= 5ppm Only tankmate 1 Horned Nerite Snail. 5 gallon Fluval Spec V with Live plants, weekly 30% H20 changes+Prime religiously. No sharp decor. Tank kept at stable 80°.
  4. Colu, One last thank you for all of your guidance in helping this baby betta aka "Dexter Jr." He is healthy and has been moved from a QT into a planted 5 gallon. Thank you so much!!!
  5. Dancing Matt, He came sick from Petco... floating sideways and pieces of him were on the lid of the cup he was in. His parameters are stable. He is getting meds and large h20 changes everyday. I am attempting to heal him from what Petco created. Ann
  6. Colu, Betta is readily coming out to eat. Color has returned. Noticed patches of scales missing on sides of his head. Still feeding 2 Polyguard pellets 2x per day+large water change with Ich-X everday. This is Jr. today.
  7. Got it...so, I should keep doing the water treatments with Ich-X in conjunction with medicated pellets?
  8. Colu, Betta is much better today and readily came out for food. Question...Ich-X states, "Do 3 days uninterrupted treatments...treat every 24 hours." Should I do a large water change before each treatment with Ich-X? Ann
  9. Hahahaha, It's the Marine in me..."A Force in Readiness!!!"😆 I'm lucky enough to have a LFS about 10 miles from me where I can purchase most anything needed...and they are so helpful.
  10. Oooooohhhhh, Nice planted tank...and your water is crystal clear! Now that is a serious upgrade from the previous tank. What kind of stone is that in your new tank? Btw, Welcome to the group. I'm fairly new to fish keeping (Betta Fish) and the board too...like you I "inherited" a fish from someone. Please post when you set up your 40 gallon. Ann
