  1. @Guppysnail Yeahhhhh.. I read that they are toxic to shrimp also?? I did just have one of my 7 shrimp die a couple days ago. Coincidence?
  2. @Guppysnail I just put in a bunch of bladder snails, and trumpet snails, -to help with a separate algae problem- and the worms instantly became active and murked all the snails😐 There's three in this one..
  3. Have found these little flat worms through out a couple of my shrimp tanks recently. These jus mossy along lol (Don't mind floating leaves, jus trimmed some plants)
  4. Lil flat worm lookin boi. Found a couple in my 5 gallon shrimp tank. Doesn't seem to be bothering anything, just slugs along.
  5. @Colu thank you once again! The pictures are right after a water change. The Nitrates have never exceeded 50 ppm to my knowledge, -I test every Wednesday/Sunday- thanks to all the plants. @ScottieB Thank you for your input! That's the course of action I went with myself. It's all healed up and she never winced at it. I assume it's from her trying way to hard to get every single brine shrimp lol she leaves no nook or cranny left un searched. Prolly jus got a boo boo
  6. So I noticed some swelling, and pushed up scales by the mouth of my girl Minerva. It's on her right side jus below her mouth.(bottom picture) Her left side is fine (top picture) spots are dark, and is very active still so acting normal. I've never noticed it before and I sit and watch this tank for atleast an hour a day through out. Let me know your opinion please, and thank you! Ph: 7.8 Gh: 300+ ppm Kh: 40 ppm (is a little lower than normal (80-120) Ammonia: 0 ppm Nitrite: 0 ppm Nitrate: 25-50 ppm
  7. Yeah I don't try chasing parameters, and I jus go with consistency also. What got me, is the reading of my pH being lower that 7 on the coop strips when It's a steady 7.8-8. And my buffer/kh reading 0 when it sits at atleast 80-120 ppm. Everything else seems to be matched with all my other test kits, except those two. I'll add another picture of the same tank being tested today.
  8. So I bought the 200 test strips from A.C. and they're giving me reading I've never got before with the tetra test strips or the API liquid test kit. My normal reading front the tetra and the liquid are; Ph: 7.8-8 Gh: 300+ ppm Kh: 180 ppm Nitrite: 0 Ammonia: 0 Nitrate: 20-30 ppm But with the Co-op test strips I get what is seen in the picture. Do I have a faulty eyes or a faulty test kit?? Thanks in advance!

    Gill fluke?

@Colu what factor would you consider to be the bad water condition? It competes very well with all the others fish. I'm just tryna make sure Lil dude ain't hurting

    Gill fluke?

I got these beautiful Black Neons in September of 2021. I didn't notice that one of them that was bagged, had/has this gill issue. As learned I quarantined them in the trio for a week, then let them set for awhile longer. They were all active and eating fine so I went ahead and added them to my 40G planted community tank, expecting their boo boo to heal up.. Well it's now almost March, and Lil homie has about doubled in size, but from the looks of it, the boo boo is still boo booing. It eats great and is very active all the time. Never see it gasping or looking distraught. Just asking if they're okay? Or do I need to do something again? Thanks in advance!! pH: 7.8 to 8 Kh: 80-120 ppm Gh: 180-300 ppm Ammonia: 0ppm Nitrite: 0ppm Nitrate: 30 ppm

    Okay thank you!

    Parasites??

Is this an internal parasites? Or is it diarrhea from something else? I feed primarily vibra-bites, frozen blood worms, frozen brine shrimp, and a flake food mixture of bug bites tropical, spirlina, and tetra freeze dried bloodworms.
  13. Does anybody have any tips on the best way to attach plain black foam as an exterior background?
