    Frogbit. I like they way it looks, and once it gets going in your tank, it just keeps growing.

    I finally decided to test plant Micro Sword on the left side of my tank. Also, by this time the DHG was starting to turn more of a yellowish color If the Micro Sword takes off, and does well. I might just go with that for my carpeting plant.

    Mine finally started kinda growing in thick (only in the middle of my tank).

    Put the media from your hang on back into the canister, or do what @stealth Aquatics suggested. Do not throw away your hang on back media if that was the only filter you had running.

    I must be super lucky. I thankfully have not had any snails hitchhike on my plant orders from the Co-Op. I don't mind mystery snails, but any snail that lays eggs all around the tank I'm not a fan of. Sad, because I really like the way nerite snails look.

    I just tried capping certain areas of the EcoComplete with Active-Flora (floracore black). It is small enough to fall in between the EC, so I'm hoping this helps. I wish I would have just started the tank with Active-Flora from the beginning.

    I'm having a hard time getting DHG to carpet in my tank with EcoComplete also. This picture is about 4 months old, and It has barely spread since then.
