  1. Yeah, here that would be $120. Also I’m using this setup for nano stuff smaller than 40 gallons. At normal co2 diffusion of 30 ppm in the water column the tank so far will most likely last 5-7 weeks depending on measurements on ingredients. It’s not bad when it only takes a few minutes to set back up. I use 5 and 10 pound tanks on my big tanks. With high end regulators. This little setup is nice to have though for a small setup. Really looks great too!
  2. I noticed they had a 4L version on Amazon and then it disappeared. Yeah I figured you could go over as this product would need some deep safety backup lol.
  3. Has anyone else used this type of product before? I just got mine yesterday and setup the device for my 16 gallon water box. It’s pretty simple to do and builds pressure quick. The regulator holds the working pressure at 50 psi which should work for most diffusers. The dial for flow control is about as good as any other entry level regulator. Fzone is just rebranding this product, but they did use better parts then most of the companies. The fitting for the solenoid on the FZone version is easy and doesn’t leak like others. The parts that come with this $70-$80 kit will allow you to start co2 injection. One thing is missing and that’s the $15-$20 solenoid. You have to buy that separate. With that in mind, you still save a lot compared to buying a decent reg and tank. Banking soda and citric acid are cheap to refill if you use this for 5-40 gallon tanks. This might be a good product for some compared to running to maybe the only place in town to get a refill on co2. You can just dip into each of your bags of baking soda and citric acid, then start a new batch. Easy as that. The most surprising thing is how well made this product is. On a side note I bought a FZone high end Dual stage regulator. From what it looks like. It’s a co2art copy.
  4. Both a 125 and 75. I could handle just having those for the rest of my life.
  5. You prob grow low light plants mostly. Fluval 3.0 lights really get nice results when they are cranked all the way up with co2 at 30ppm. Nicrews won't even work in my tanks because they don't have enough light.
  6. My 125 has been taking on a bit more food lately. I’m getting my EBA to breed. I have a batch in my 40 breeder now and will stand up another here soon to start batch 2.
  7. Those lights def do well on my buddies shop tanks. I might try some myself when my beamswork go out.
  8. I use Finnex ALC versions, Fluval 3.0 lights, AI prime freshwater lights and Beamswork 6500k Planted lights. All of those I recommend. The Beamswork is the best bang for buck. Fluval and AI to me are close. Finnex is a good in between from high end and midrange.
  9. Yeah those two tanks are perfect to me lighting wise. The middle pic is two Fluval 3.0 lights on a 75. That’s $440 dollars. The 125 has two Fluval 3.0 going across the back of the tank and 4 AI lights, that’s $1000 already in lighting and I still need two more eventually. The 75 actually grows plants better.
  10. I use 4 on my 125, but I will be getting two more soon. I think they do well with 1foot distance between each other. I would also recommend two for a 29. i use one on my Biocube also and it’s pretty good by itself.
  11. So, the AI lights are pricey for what you get. I have bought 4 for my 125 and I still feel I need 1 per each foot. I own also Fluval 3.0 lights. Those are def a better bang for buck lights. Compared to the AI lights that is. Say you have a 75 gallon tank, two Fluval lights at 48 inches each would be far better light across the tank than two AI prime lights. The center of the pendent style lights made by AI, put out the most light obviously. The thing is that light drops off fast at the edges. So you need good overlap. now on to what I recommend for people wanting to save more money and want custom light periods. The Finned ALC version is a must for folks wanting to grow pretty much anything like the other listed lights. I only make these recommendations based on owning all these products currently. I will attach tanks with the lights I described.
  12. I have quite a bit of tanks. I started the hobby when I was 9 or 10 and have been going strong again for 3 years or so. The hobby has def gotten itself to a golden era when it comes to the technology we can easily get and use on our current day aquariums. I’m glad I get to spend the time here now talking shop with folks. Thank you!
