  1. Can anyone give me any info on this angelfish, I can't find any similar photos online. Thanks!
  2. I had a neon with its tail missing... no idea how it happened. However, the tail grew completely back in 2 weeks. Good as new. I also had one with some kind of growth on its mouth, I posted about it here about a month ago. Somebody mentioned that diet might be a factor, so I decided to make my own fish food heavy on garlic. A month later the growth is completely gone.
  3. I added 3 young female neon rainbows to my tank that had been in quarantine for the last 2 weeks. That concludes the stocking of my tank. Very happy with the result!
  4. Thanks a lot for the advice. Kanaplex seems to be the treatment that might do the trick.
  5. They seem to be acting normally, eating well and schooling together. I'm not actually sure how long the tetra has had this white thing. I can only see it with my reading glasses on. Obviously, I've been paying more attention recently because of the new tank. At least 10 days... maybe a lot longer.
  6. I've had the neons for about a year... I got them when they were very tiny, so they are all still pretty young. About a month ago, I moved them from a heavily planted 10 gallon to a new 29 gallon. Since I was using the same filter media and plants, the water parameters have been petty stable. The temp is 25/77 degrees. GH 75. KH 80. PH 7.2. After noticing the growth on the neon's mouth, I dosed the tank with Paraguard (the only medication I have on hand) for about 10 days with no effect.
  7. Any idea what this is and how to treat it. It's only affecting one of my neon tetras. Other than this the fish is behaving and feeding normally.
