  1. Thank you, I just put some in my hatchery this morning.
  2. Hi everyone! The babies are finally free swimming as of today. I got some easy fry food from the co op but should I start hatching baby brine now?
  3. Thank you for the help, I’ll make sure to order some stuff now and I’ll check out the video
  4. Hi ChargertoLA, so right now I have a small valve controlling the flow and it’s pretty slow but I can see partials move if I move mulm. And I don’t have a idea on food yet, I’ve seen vinegar eels and baby brine shrimp for when there older but I haven’t had and experience with either yet lol. Also @Fish Folk and @ChargerstoLA the eggs did hatch! Right now there off the leaf and sitting on the bottom of the breeder box and I made sure to remove any eggs that turned white.
  5. Thank you so much for the help. I came up with my own little design lol it has water flowing from the tank into a breeder box then back out and I have the leaf weighed down so there not exposed to air. I’ll keep everyone updated the following days!
  6. Hi everyone! I haven’t been on here a long while but I just noticed today my angel fish spawned! The eggs look pretty good and I’m assuming it might be a day old. I just have a few questions on how to care for the eggs sense they are in a community tank. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
  7. So the blue tints are Peruvian altums and the darker browns are red shoulders There Peruvian Altums, there are still young so there final patterns and colors aren’t in yet
  8. My angelfish have recovered for quite some time now from there fin rot and angelfish disease. Thank you to @Colu for the treated food recipe
  9. The KH is about 120 and I’m not using any buffer.plus more pictures of the others, which I know and am treating there fins for rotting.
  10. Hi everyone I recently got some help from the forum saying my angels may have angelfish disease do to there swimming behavior and the affected not eating well. There are 4 Peru altums and 6 red shoulders. I just did a 50% water change yesterday and dosed general cure by API. I’ve had one angel fish pass the day before and now have one staying at the water surface. My PH is 7.4, ammonia 0ppm, nitrates 5-6ppm, nitrite 0ppm, temp 78*. Water is slightly hard. If I could get some help to hopefully grow them to adults I would very much appreciate it.
  11. Hello everyone, it’s my fist time keeping angels, but I have a question regarding the slime coat and weird activity. So the young red shoulders are getting a almost velvet look to there skin and sometimes twitch very weird.
  12. Hello everyone I’m very new to the forums but I’ll try to get the hang of it. I have a 75 gal with all young angel fish (6 Peruvian Altum and 6 Red Shoulder), along with 4 Bolivian Rams plus 6 (1in) barbatus corydora. Also in Gilroy, California 🙂
