  1. Yes I went back and got all 3 of them (I’ll be keeping my eye out for more) there in my 90gal now and the corydoras in there gave them the full tour (they were seemingly hanging out)
  2. Thanks so much. There only $4 and they only have 3 but there definitely cool
  3. Crossostoma lacustre ?? A type of hillstream loach looks very similar -I’m not sure how to do a image search on the phone
  4. name in store: Algae eater gold or marble not sure what they are couldn’t find anything on google. A type of loach? A darter? A darter tetra? If anyone knows I’d be greatly appreciative there cool and cheap but I don’t want to buy without being able to find out more about them and where i should put them
  5. Couldn’t find any Aquarium Co-Op cars in forza horizon 4 so I made one, 1980 Fiat Abarth 131, let me know what you think.
  6. I just messaged them tonight hopefully tomorrow or at least in a few days they’ll get back I really could have imagined it was anything serious it’s not like it fell in the tank or even off the tank to the floor, maybe power bank or maybe they’ll say oh just try this reset button combo and then it would kick back on easy but we’ll see I’ll put a update on here when they do get back in touch (my other one is a older 24/7) just praying that doesn’t die on me I tried to see if I could switch the power banks but there different connections if it does have issues I’ll upgrade just hoping I can put it off a few months to make it easier and now saving for another one for the other 29 or maybe I’ll just put the tanks together and get the 48 in
  7. I don’t imagine it’s water with the cover but there is a small gap in the back, I’m at 8 months so I guess I’m out of luck there, I should have just got my light from the co-op to begin with (mistake I’ll only make once) i try and split between my local fish store but honestly it was just the initial investment that keep me away from the fluval and I knew the name finnex so I figured I’d get the slightly better one of those(or what I thought)kicking myself now wishing I just waited and saved up but I’m just gonna use the one I have for now it’s just hard to believe I’m a bit tight on cash right now all my tank money has came from $20 initial investment and a lot of donated time but I’m almost there I just can’t go and tie it all up at once, and and my next ones will be fluval and from the co op
  8. Came home to a dead light, -finnex planted plus 24/7cc New as of this year (would hopefully be under warranty) tried swapping it to a different outlet tried swapping the battery’s in the remote to no avail the tank has a glass cover (it couldn’t have gotten wet) it was plugged into a surge protector and the power never went out so I’m not sure everything appears to be normal other than the light not turning on my guess Is maybe something in the power bank died i don’t really know, so I went and found the box and for some reason the receipt wasn’t in it (usually where I keep them) so now I’m thinking I’m out of luck so I searched the box and the instructions for a support number only to find out they don’t have one so I went on there website and messaged/emailed them through there (waiting on a response) luckily I bought another one used for a not yet setup tank so I took that one for the meantime but I’m a bit frustrated that I spent $120 on this light and it hasn’t even lasted a year, has anyone else had these issues with there’s? Am I the odd one out and ok to get another one or should i eat the difference and get a fluval? (Plants are crypt lucens, Java fern, pogostemon stellatus octopus and a mix of duckweed and water lettuce, 29gal tank) so I wouldn’t imagine the 3.0 is necessary but the reliability and customer service is probably worth it
  9. That there’s no meds for hole in the head and that my only hope was to try beneficial bacteria for salt water and I bought it (it stunk up my room) it didn’t work, thought my last fish of 8+ years was dyeing he made it almost 2 years like that then I got my first smart phone(and access to the internet) a bunch of research later I learned all about the suspected cause but not how to cure it found some aquarium co-op videos bought the general cure and now it’s not spreading anymore and actually healed a decent amount (after having it that long I know it’s not gonna heal all the way) and his colors have been brighter than I’ve seen in a long time now we’re on 12+ years and counting and I’ve developed multi tank syndrome but in the end it’s all good
  10. I’ve heard the Repashy recommended a few times none of my local stores carry it so I’m hoping to order it soon and try but after reading these comments I don’t know how good it will be but still searching I’ve tried the Algae wafers, peas, cucumber and zucchini and they haven’t touched any of them so I just dosed extra fertilizers to get algae growth now my tank looks dirty to everyone who looks at it and I know that they only eat certain types of algae so I’m always worrying that there’s the wrong algae or there gonna eat all the type they like and the other types will out compete it, haven’t lost one yet (out of 5) but hoping to dose less and let the algae go away and not loose any was hoping the Repashy was my answer maybe I’ll have to stop dosing slowly and throw in a few different things in and maybe I’ll get lucky the second time around and they’ll take to something else, best bet is to try a few different things and hopefully they’ll take to one
  11. I just tied the actual razor blade before going to chemicals and to my surprise it actually worked (whole lot better than the plastic scraper) I had to scrub each spot roughly 5 times a bit more on the thicker spots but after about a hour and 15min. It looks a whole lot better a whole lot of scraping but it was probably worth not resorting to chemicals
  12. Ok thanks that’s what I was imagining or maybe just a to cover themselves in a instance like this where it’s not the directly implied use I’m probably gonna try the iron out seems to be about the same thing and I already have it and I’ll just have to play it safe and let it soak in clean water for a few days after and empty it and fill it for a few more and test the water Im fairly confident it will be ok I was just trying to avoid chemicals and I figured I put it up here before I did it and found out the hard way it would do something completely unexpected
  13. Has anyone personally used CLR or Bar Keepers Friend? I actually collect minerals and personally use iron out to dissolve calcium minerals and rust and then the next step up is muriatic /hydrochloric acid and know how to neutralize them with baking soda and use PPE but not sure on how they would act with the silicone and if any residual residue would be left and how long it would be around for I did notice CLR says to avoid contact with any sealed surfaces and bar keepers Friend’s ingredient is hydrochloric acid and double checked iron out doesn’t say not to use on sealed surfaces so I would lean towards the iron out but I’m curious if anyone has personally done it?
  14. I’m trying to remove hard water deposits from a used 75 gallon tank I’ve tried a magic eraser a scotch bright pad and a plastic ice scraper and tried scrubbing with vinegar and filling the tank and scrubbing and soaking none seem to work good does anybody have any good fish safe removal methods?
  15. Heres a 90 gal (not 100% sure) at a semi local fish store that’s one of my favorites I do also like the idea of boesemani’s (On my list of fish to get someday)
