I'd be a little nervous about what I was getting at that price. The last time I saw zebra plecos they were selling for more like $200-$300 each. You're talking about spending $500  for fish that should sell for more like $5,000-$7,500. As a general rule when a deal is that good, it's not a real deal. You really want to be careful when someone offers you something at that reduced of a price. I'd recommend looking around at zebra pleco prices and then consider whether this seller is offering a you a real deal, or if you're being conned. My suspicion is they're trying to con you. I get nervous when a deal seems too good to be true.

Ok, thank you. This is a whoelsale price because I do assist in a fish business.

  2. Plecos, cories, kribs, ricefish are all amazing breeders. If you are looking for consistent babies that are pretty much effort less try ricefish, they can lay eggs every day and the fry are small. I am breeding them currently! What kinds of platforms are you selling on right now?

  3. Ok thank you I ahve all those repashy products.flavors. Thank you! I will have to check to see if my lfs would be able to take 15 of them. I want to keep the minimum needed for a good spawning group but still have high numbers. 6 would be a good number but I don't want to have to sell 19 of them.

  4. I would try another male. Males can starve themselves sittiing on eggs and if you have two males the female can not only choose the right male, but you will still have a male if one sat one eggs too long and starved himself.

  5. I think that those may be the medakas, white cloud babies are more white and I have over 100 ricefish fry growing out right now. If you have enough plant matter they should be fine, but if not the parents will have them as a snack.

  6. I would suggest red koi or Philippine blue, they seem popular. Are you shipping or selling to lfs? If you are selling to your lfs see what the sell the most of or ask the public in our area. Blue marble bumblees and the dark ones with long fins are very pretty. But the red kois and philippine blues seem to sell in mass quantities.

  7. I think with good enough plant matter the may not, however all fish are different. The fry are fairly small so if you were doing this to breed for profit I would play it safe and invest i a breeder net to put the fry in until they are large enough to grow out in either a larger tank to themselves or with the adults.

  8. Mutt guppies are so fun to breed you never know the kinds or colors of the babies. I have one mutt guppy tank and that is just for culls of my other 10 pure lines. This makes is 10x as fun because the beautiful colors of pure lines (but culls) mixing together is such a fun breeding project and it's effort less.

  9. I don't know if you still need this info but I have a 75 gallon fish tank with cherry barbs and kribs. The males have a dark red to them while the females have large abdomens and are lighter in their red color. Making the males more desirable for non-breeding projects. They are egg-scatterers which is why we are not breeding them in their current setup.

  10. Just debating on what kinds of BN plecos I want to breed first.

    Albino Shortfin

    Super reds

    Calico.

I think in the future I might try zebras, or leopard frogs. We have albino longfin, choc shortfin and longfin right now in their breeding tanks.
