A few weeks a go I set up a 55 and I have a white/grey cloudy layer on the bottom of the tank. I have organic potting soil capped with pool filter sand that I rinsed. since setting up I have done three water changes, two of which were 100% water changes. Both times I added water conditioner and beneficial bacteria. I have only put a few plants in there because it adds up quick and I plan on having a lot of them. As for fish, I haven'd added any yet. Any ideas of what it might be? It looks gelatinous, but when I disturb it, it looks more cloudy, almost like smoke but under water.
