I don't sing to my fish but I'm prone to ear worms. As soon as I read the topic title "I'm all right"(Caddyshack/Kenny Loggins) began playing in my head. Lately my weekly deep gravel cleaning brings up "Diggy Diggy Hole". (Yogacast).
Same issue, different music, usually classical.
Thanks, now Diggy Diggy Hole is stuck in my head 😉

I am sad to report we lost our girl, Bluebonnet this morning.
She would periodically release a batch of eggs (3 times since we had her). Every time she would get lethargic the next day, but the day after would be back to her active, begging for food self. Two days ago she released a batch and we found her dead this morning.
I have no idea if this is normal for female bettas to release eggs every couple of weeks, and whether or not that can cause stress that could lead to death, but we're trying not to beat ourselves up too much about it.
I'm not sure where to go with this 3 gallon cube from here.- 3

White moving dots on the glass, in my experience, is often limpets. If so they'll eat algae and are harmless.

We recently changed up our guppies to colony breed, and have started getting into Neocaridina.

We've threatened to completely reset this tank so many times, but its hard to justify that when its such a trooper!

I'm not a scientist, but I don't see anything on the ingredients list that would react like that to heat. That's bizarre for sure, I've had really good experience with our easy fry food.

I also like them both. Sponge filter is super easy to use and maintain, but a hang on back does seem to offer a little more polish, as well as a nice place to grow pothos.

Mystery Snails are pretty safe too if they can't lay their clutches above the water line.

My first console was Pong, then we got an Intellivision. I had almost a full Intellivision collection until I sold it off for fish gear 😉

Showing my age but I used to play Burgertime AND also made burgers at home, lol.
My kids played those games where you had to take care of virtual pets, while laying in their bedroom which had bunnies, hamsters, kittens, dogs, fish and triops.
Burgertime rules!

Welcome! For my tastes, I think your plants are doing great...let them grow! Looks like you have fluval stratum, and it can grow some gorgeous plants. If they get to be too much you can always trim them back.
I can't speak about mollies as I have no experience, but Im sure someone here can help 🙂- 1

I've heard of truck drivers who play Euro Truck simulator, which is an awesome game if you've never played it. I fish occasionally in real life but one of my favorite games is fishing planet, which is just a fishing simulator lol.
Fishing Planet is great! Haven't played it in some time.

This game has a campaign mode where you accept jobs to set up tanks for customers, so thats a neat challenge to do a specific aquascape. It also has a sandbox mode where you can try out whatever you want as far as stocking and aquascaping. There's a lot of nuances the game doesn't have yet, but it does have parameters, temps, and tanks require cleaning, etc. Or you can just put it on casual mode and nothing dies lol
