  1. Last year I put in a 125 gallon pond in my backyard. right now there is only a few goldfish and frogs in there. I really want to replace the goldfish with some native fish. I was thinking maybe a bass or some bluegill. Idk though if it is big enough for any native fish. Does any body of experience with native fish and if so... what would you stock the pond with?
  2. I get these in a lot of my new tanks. after several months they tend to go away.
  3. I love Ohio! what type of goldfish are you thinking?
  4. the chance of a angelfish eating a neon is pretty slim. they are actually great tank mates. just make sure they are well fed and you should not get any problems 😁 good luck
  5. firstly, I am a HUGE fan of your YouTube channel. secondly, welcome to the form!!!
  6. I had a bristle nose pleco that was 1.5 years old in my African ciclid tank. which is not very long, but I have only been in the for hobby 2 years. but my pleco died last week while I was on my fall break trip. I only found his skeleton😭
  7. lots and lots of hiding spaces is best. also make sure that you have a good ratio of males to females. about 1 male for every 2 to 3 females. but really any flake will do for food. guppys really are not picky
  8. i am planning on doing a high tech 40 gallon with a few discus(not sure about that yet)
  9. ¨pest" snails are the best at cleaning up algae and other bits of uneaten food
  10. yes that would be fine, I have a tank with only male guppies and endlers are closely related to guppies
  11. I was recently asked by a friend which is the smallest tank a betta can go in, I told them a 5 gallon if they do not have live plants. I keep two bettas in 3 gallon( going to upgrade soon) and a 10 gallon both heavly planted. so I was just wonder what the minimum for a betta. I personly think It is okay to put a betta in a tank smaller then 5 gallons if it planted, what are your guys thought?
  12. I would do a planted with some tetras and angelfish, maybe some corys
  13. well I do have a 55 gallon that I am not using but I dont really want set it up right now so maybe when they grow out of the 40 gallon I will move them to the 55
