Definitely not raised and grayish not fuzzy at all the shape hasn’t changed in four days it could be a scale

This is my 1 year old EB Accra. In a 55 gal with 1 other EBA and smaller tetra and one Angel. These Accra are same gender and I’ve never seen any aggression between them. When I walk up to or pass the tank one of these two take off and does collide with things in the tank including sponge filter,airstone, driftwood, seriyu stone.so plenty of things that could produce a scrape. Doesn’t appear to be raised. Could this simply be an injury. I haven’t added any fish in 4 or 5 months and those two were flying fox & had been qaurentined prior, no longer in this tank.( needed them in another tank for bba removal) Parameters ph 6.6 ammonia 0 nitrate 0 nitrites 0 temp 78. Water changes every 2weeks. Light Gravel vac once a month

Will Flourish Excel cause the tips of Winelov to begin browning. I added it 2 or 3 times. 55 gal med light,Attached to driftwood. What can I do to help it recover?I purchased this locally. About the same time, mid January I ordered 2 cryptocoryne Tropica. Only a couple outer leaves melted as expected but one plant has developed small holes in a number of the leaves. I’m using easy green root tabs. Any advice would be so helpful.

I have a new 55 gallon aqueoun kit came w/ appropriate size preset heater. The temp is currently 76 with 2 preset @ opposite ends. The smaller of the 2 was used in a 29 gal. Ive learned over the years that I sometimes need to raise the temp due to fish types/requirements or raising to medicate . So I’ve removed the smaller preset. I purchased an adjustable Aqueon pro 200 for this tank. ( I haven’t added it yet) Should I remove the preset or leave and run both@ opposite ends? I’m looking to add S.American Cichlids

My water parameters are good and I do regular weekly water changes. Well now it’s daily and daily gravel vac. Ph is 6.2-6.8 kh is on low side of40. Nitrate around 20 our water is soft. My rams are very peaceful. The only stress the tank has had was stress that I caused trying to take out some leopard Danios to transfer to another tank. They were added two weeks prior & were not a good fit just to fast for tank mates. They were and still are ich free. So is there a different treatment for ich caused by stress?

I’m not having luck with getting rid of ick using ichx using per instructions since 8/27 thought it was gone so treated for 2 more days and it came back ordered more ichx. How long do I wait to begin new medication. 29 gal planted tank. Raised Temp to 80 Bolivian ram, hill stream loach, tetras & Ottos.

I’m out of ich x and should receive an order by tomorrow. Last & 5th treatment of ich x was 8/30/ I have ParaClense on hand, will this help & How long after use of ich x before starting a new med or should I continue with ich x? Today is day 2 without meds added. All fish are clear but 1 hill stream loach.

I have ich in one of my 29 gal tanks. I’m using ich x to treat & Following the instructions. If I treated again today it would be 5th treatment. There are butterfly loaches & ottos that still have spots the other fish appear to be clear. Luckily I had ich x on hand & began treatment as soon as I saw ich on my cherry Barb. How many day can I continue treatment?

I have a well planted 29 gal hardscaped w/ rock & mangrove . stocked with 2 Bolivian Rams, 4 Hill stream loaches, 3 ottos,2 rummy nose, 6 ember tetras, 4 black neon, 4 cherry barbs. Weekly water changes. HOB and 4” air stone. Beautiful healthy tank

I’m have the same concern in my 29 gal. I had 4 Cory 3 oto and a hillstream loach. I lost a Cory and moved another to a smaller tank with only a betta. I see him eating now. I took him out of the 29 gallon tank when I saw him stuck on the intake valve of my hang on back filter.I feed the 29 gal the wafers at night but not sure who’s eating them. The other food stealing tank mates were angels, now removed. Remaining are rummy nose and black neons

I have a 29 gal established tank. I’ve got 5 rummy nose and they’ve begun nipping a med sized Angel. It’s a planted tank with plenty of hides. Do I need a larger group of rummys to stop aggression.

Hi and thanks for adding me. Love aquarium co op and glad to find this forum with like minded helpful people! I’m back into the hobby after about a 10 year hiatus.
