  1. @Colu Ok if I upped the Cory's to 5-6 each and then more neons, could I get another school of fish AND a betta too? or will that all be too much in the 20 gallon?
  2. Hi everyone! So i just moved to my new place, transferred my fish from my old 10 gallon to the new 20 gallon. I am looking to add more fish since there is more space now. I’ll wait a few weeks before I add them, but this is what i have so far: 2 albino corydoras, 1 zebra corydora, 6 neon tetras, and 4 Amano shrimp. What would go well with this bunch? Should i add some more schools? I was also thinking of adding a betta last. Any ideas will be appreciated!
  3. See attached pics. This algae just started growing on most of my leaves? Is this the start of BBA? If it is BBA, should I try to get it off the leaves, put back in the tank and dose tank with Excel? What could be the reason for this growing on my leaves? I don’t have any fish and a low tech tank. Maybe I should start putting liquid carbon in? Any thoughts are appreciated.
  4. @Fish Folk So the HOB filter I have going already would not be enough? I would need an additional filter? This is a 10 g tank by the way.
  5. Hi everyone! I just set up my new planted (10 gallon) tank yesterday and now I am going to wait for it to cycle for a month until I add my fish. I am just wondering what my water changing schedule should be until I get my fish? I have a low light (6 hours per day), no CO2 tank that is pretty full of plants (see pic). I put water conditioner into the tap water when I put it in the tank. I am using fluval stratum and have not used any fertilizers. I have read different opinions of how often and how much water I should change the first month. Some say it is good to change to get the extra nitrogen out, but some say I shouldn't even touch the water for a while until the plants get used to it. What are ya'lls thoughts?? Maddie
