I Have some CPD's in my 50 gallon planted tank and I Love the look of the silver tip tetras. I really want to put some in my tank but I keep reading conflicting reports about their compatibility with CPD's My tank is extremely planted so The CPD's would have lots and lots of hiding room if any bullying were to occur still a lil hesitant though and would love any advice or first hand expertise on the matter thank you !

still waiting for these worm traps to come in can't see them any more but I'm still going to lay the trap and see what if I can pull them out. don't see any other sign of them

I'm so curious if there is something that I can put in my tank that will feed off of these things and wipe them out. I have a bunch of cories and a few kuahli loaches in the tank. Seeing as they are bottom feeders I kinda thought maybe they would eat these guys ?

I work in an ER so I have an Iron stomach. I'm checking it out right now and I did buy a worm trap that I'm dropping in as soon as it gets here. just not sure what to bait it with really. I will post some more pics of the head as soon as I get a chance thank you guys so much for all the advice.

crap hahah any idea what to do for leeches ? I don't see any on my fish at all and everyone looks great. I only notice them in the substrate too only like 6 of them tops

if there was Ich in the tank sometimes it bothers the fish and they will scratch themselves on stuff in the tank Like décor and stuff. see if the other fish show signs of Ich maybe ? when any of my fish have an open wound I try to Quarantine them so the other fish don't pick at them or stress them out more and dose some anti bacterial. Hope that helps this fish looks like it will be beautiful once it recovers !

My fish don't really show any signs of disease and I haven't had die off, But I'm not sure if these worms are something to be worried about or not. I know that a lot of planted tanks get Detritus Worms I'm just sucky at identifying them from harmful worms haha

Hello everyone ! I just planted some new red plants in my tank and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for the fluval 3.0 settings when it comes to red plants. I have a 50 gallon tank and and a have fluval 3.0 that is too big for my tank I think its a 48 inch. I know that red plants require high lighting to get deep reds but what exactly be high light on the fluval ? I have the light set to the auto planted setting and I have co2 running so I'm hoping I'm doing something right hahah
