  1. If they are the "Original Endler" dont you think they are a little on the old side to breed? I mean 1975....that makes them 46 years old. Im surprised they are still swimming😵
  2. When I ordered mine...I just assumed that I put the tank together with a butt load of snails and they would be like Suicide Squad and kill everything😈 .... then they came so small... I was worried the snails would slap them around...😱
  3. That's not a half bad idea. The components are already made....just need two center cores and a sponge for the kit. Maybe Cory will read this and see if its possible. Not sure how cost effective it would be would be the only drawback I would think.
  4. Thats where the snails come in! Hence.... @Guppysnail 😂 They go hand in hand like peanut butter and jelly......like peas and carrots....like anchovies and mayo 😋
  5. I had no idea how tiny they would be when I got them. They are about 1/4 of an inch. Heck most of the snails are bigger than they are. I had to go looking for a bunch of baby bladder snails to put in there for them. They are rocking out on the BBS though. It is so funny to watch them snipe the BBS😂😈
  6. I just setup a 20gallon High with 5 pea puffers. There is a few driftwood pieces with plants all over them as well as floating plants and a coconut cave with water sprite attached to it. I set it up and added about 100 bladder snails to it a day or so before they arrived. Told them good luck and emulate Turbo if you can!😂
  7. We really gotta find out if there is a fix to that issue. @Streetwise or @Daniel or @Zenzo....is there a way to remove the reaction limit?
  8. Before I actually watched Corys video I had the air stone put all the way to the bottom of the tower. I adjusted the air volume until I had good flow with no air leakage. The key was to get the air line straight. Not always easy but doable when you heat it a little to relax the curve. Another thought is to take 3/16 hard air line tubing to make a long straight pipe then add the stone to the bottom and connect to the lid. This guarantees you centering the stone in the sponge filter and minimizing any stray bubbles while using the entire filter stack.
  9. That message will self destruct ....oh heck it already has...🤣
  10. 😳😳Slowly steps backwards😳😳 I know when @Cory explains how to set up the Sponge filters...he recommends to have the air stone as close to the top as possible. I wonder if when stacked that would be the same recommendation or to place the air stone farther down?
  11. Good Job, I was going to photo it when I got home...you beat me to it! Now put a CoOp power head on the bad boy with the airline for air injection and it Tim the Tool Man you will be ARRR ARRR ARRRRRRRRRR!!!!!
  12. Looking at your tops there are no issues I can see. You can always hook up an airline to your powerhead if you ever want to add air into the water column.
  13. Take the top off of the first sponge ...the one the air stone attaches to and set aside.....on the second sponge remove the base keeping the 2 cages and sponge with top together. Snap that assembly onto the the first sponge assembly with the base and wallah....double sponge using one airline. If you have a really deep tank you can do this for however many sponges will fit stacked up. yes if you needed a powerhead in your tank this would be a great way to do it.
  14. If you have the height in the tank....the Coop sponges can be stacked together into a single tower double sponge.
  15. I wouldnt be too sure on that ....😈
  16. Only 3 orders.... you need to get busy.....🤣 Seriously though....Aquarium Coop is the finest when it comes to online ordering, information, customer service and really customer support. Any question any issue or if you just want to say thank you... @Candi is there to take care of you. On the information @Cory videos are priceless. I thought I knew alot about fishkeeping....WRONG!!! I have learned so much from his videos...that alone is worth the price of admission. Now they have @Zenzo on the team makes it even better as he is another priceless resource for us to gain information from. Last but absolutely not least...this forum is the Crown Jewel of the entire Empire that is the CoOp. Here we are family and we all come together to enjouy this hobby and to learn from one another. You will find someone who specializes in every aspect of this hobby....from plants....to fish....to diseases to breeding everything and anything. So sit back and enjoy the show....and welcome to the family!
  17. That is true but I dont kill them myself....I put everything in live and give them a chance to run...🤣 Doesn't work but hey my conscious is clear....LOL
  18. 26 dollars for fish and 86 dollars for shipping?!? Holly moley....where did they come from Mars?
  19. At what point will it be time to start hold signs saying "THE APOCOLAPSE IS HERE"
  20. It doesnt count if Hubby thinks they were 3.00 each🤣
  21. I paid 32 dollar for a single sea bass.....it was lightly sautéed in a garlic herb butter sauce with creamed asparagus and a mushroom risotto.
  22. Put in 3-4 assassins snails. They feed on the the snails and reproduce very slowly. You LFS will absolutely take the Assassins snails because lots of people want them. I personally love them and I have a tanks set up to breed assassins and a pea puffer tank. Between feeding both of those I never have too many.
  23. When I was doing my fish room ...I could use the drains immediately because well...their drains. On anything carrying water into the fish I waited 48 hours. Maybe excessive but I am on the BSTS train....Better Safe Than Sorry. Now if it was for drinking water for my mother in Law...that's a whole different story!🙄
