  1. Thank you, @Fish Folk! I can do the #1 easily. Just waiting on my ziss breeding box from the co-op but I have catappa leaves. Is there an ideal temp that worked for you? I typically keep mine set at 75 (always measures about .4-.7° lower with the heater probe and .6° higher with the extra thermometer)
  2. I've had cories laying eggs for months. Even my neon tetras and dwarf gouramis are breeding. Going to try and collect and hatch eggs and wondering what your go-to infusoria methods are?
  3. Excuse the algae mess, but what are those two little ones? I got 2 nerite snails about 2 months ago and one day I see one of those little dudes & one nerite, so I thought maybe his shell fell off (is that even possible?) Or something. I've only ever seen 1 of each until this morning - apparently there's 2 new snails & 2 nerites! My question is- do snails grow shells? Or do they have ones just very small? Also any idea what kind these are? The only thing I have added to the tank has been plants from co-op so could these be some bonus snails? I'm so surprised/confused lol

  6. @Patrick_G thank you!! And yes you are correct, I noticed those guys first but as I got up close I realized the growth is everywhere in the best way. On the link I put more close up shots and labels because it's hard to tell from the FTS
  7. @Isaac M I agree!! I'm anxious to get back in there but at the same time, I don't want to clean too much and end up messing it all up either! Lol so I'm trying to have patience and go about it slowly
  8. All I managed in that time was one tiny 10% water change. I did not expect this success but wow. I can thank the Co-op for the plants, root tabs, easy green, & expertise. I'm feeling blessed today! See all the growth
  9. Thank you very much! Genius idea, poking holes. At least my cories enjoyed the adventure haha. And the plant is actually Pogostemon Stellatus Octopus from the co-op also! Every single plant in there is co-op except for one single anubis I had before haha. Thanks for the appreciation! Means a lot!!
  10. So I planted a bunch of plants over the last week and finally finished the last few this morning. I am using aquarium Co-Op root tabs, and there were 2 that didn't stay down enough and floated up so they were peeking out of the surface. I (stupidly) tried to push them back down causing them to explode everywhere and now the cories are eating the gel cap material?! It's so slippery and finicky I'm having trouble getting it out and the cories are literally tearing up plants to get to it. Are they going to end up getting sick? Should I do a water change or let the plants in the water column absorb the extra nutrients?? Sos pics of full tank to show. Only 2 tabs had this issue and both are on the left side
