  1. I got my new pre filter and I don't want to mess up and kill my BB. I haven't change it since 2 years ago I just clean and put back, but I'm afraid to switch and mess ut up

    Can someone help me make sure i don't mess up I know it's eazy just don't want to mess up lol.

  2. My betta Sims bloaded he slowly eating but look bad swimming ok still 

    Temperature 81F

    Ammonia 0ppm

    Nitrite 0ppm 

    Nitrate 10ppm to 25ppm

    Tank been cycled 7 month 

    I dont know what cold be the problem I feed him Xtreme betta pellets and fluval bug bites I so worry about my betta canthank you in advance  someone help me find out what's going on

  3. Is hard water bad for bettas because I been having problems with fin rot I try meds mercy with ickX. I also try salt bath 1 table spoon one galong of water and he still losing parts of his tail I'm wondering if my hard water can be the problem I had him fo about 10 month ago he is eating but I can't get the fin rot ot to stop any suggestions I'm afraid I will lose him if it keeps going on.

    White could be an indication of a bacterial disease as well.

    Unfortunately they are slightly more expensive, but I do recommend amano shrimp for their ability to handle a bit more.

    ...... alright, so what you would need to do if this is a disease is treat the tank for the two indicated diseases. We need to start at square one and check everything. Ghost shrimp are very fragile and so there is a risk here. If you want to add shrimp to the tank in future you'd want to treat the tank for that reason as well.

    The green things are called ellobiopsidae

     

    Definitely could be the case as well. 100%

    I've attached the video above and details on shrimp diseases. Hopefully it's nothing there and just more baby shrimp!

    Will keep an eye on it

I got 5 ghost shrimp because I wanted to start with cheap shrimp in my tank first timer and it been about 2 weeks and my shrimps turn white and have green stuff under there bellys exap one is clear and whith green stuff under and one small one has noting and it's clear is it normal for them to turn white
