I dont have it set up yet but I will be heavily planted. Unfortunately my lfs won't take any even for free. I am concerned about over populating the tank and want to make sure I'm properly prepared before getting started.

I am looking for a centerpiece fish for a 29 gallon guppy tank that will keep population somewhat under control. 8.0ph any ideas?

I'm planning on setting up a 55g planted tank for odessa and long fin rosy barbs. Temp will be around 70f (room temp) 8.0 ph. Would 8-10 of each be suitable? I would also be interested in ideas for tank mates. I am currently looking at zebra danios, WCMM and hillstream loaches. I have considered a dojo loach but I have heard they can eat plants. Would be interested in your opinions of stocking and temperature.
