  1. Hi guys, I currently have 4 otos in the tank for a month now, and 1 of them has these bumps on the gills (below the mouth). I noticed this guy likes to isolate himself from the rest most of the time and hides a lot. I just noticed these bumps on the gills. Does anyone know what these bumps are? and how should i treat it? thanks!
  2. Ah ok. thank you, i wouldve assume its part of the ecosystem, they always come back even after frequent water changes.
  3. Hi ALl, i noticed these super tiny white bugs swimming around in my planted aquarium (there is no fish at the moment) .Does anyone know what they are and whether they are harmful to fish and/or plants? Thanks!
  4. hey just wondering, what substrate/nutrients are you giving your dwarf sag? Thanks!
  5. Hi Brian, yes this is a new setup with eco-complete substrate. Total age is 3 weeks but i planted dwarf sag and root tab just 3 days ago I am new to dwarf sag so I was afraid i am not giving the 6 dwarf sag enough nutrients with Seachem root tabs (i planted the root tab 5 inches diameter apart). Is there any other nutrients that I should give them? and i will keep a close eye on them for now. Thanks for the response
  6. nitrate level is 0, there is no fish in there yet. the root tab has been there the same time as the plants (a few days). Thanks!
  7. Hello, I need help with diagnose whats happening to my dwarf sag. I bought them a few days ago and i noticed that 2 leaves start to turn brown at the tip. Is it ok to trim the brown area only? As a side note, i have hornwort in there and the needles are falling out too. I dont have any fish yet. My tank, 15 gal. - no CO2 - i have root tabs inserted -6500k led light, 4-4-4 rule -eco complete substrate -aeration 24/7 -temp: 22 C Thanks!
