  1. Was wondering if you could breed and raise all the fry in one 20 gallon without the need for an extra tank for fry?
  2. Pretty sure I saw aquarium co op saying you can I would double check I’m not sure for definite.
  3. What’s colony breeding sorry is that leave them to it? Do you have any examples I do like livebeareres just want a change ti common ones
  4. Yes sorry autocorrect definitely not them😂
  5. I was thinking about getting some clownfish for my betta tank that would be a good option

  9. I want something a bit challenging maybe endless if it’s an expensive pair or something but some small corys would be a good idea any suggestions? I am also thinking of Having shrimp in my soon to be 10 gallon betta tank which I know he will eat a few but he is not the most aggressive so thinking a few will survive.
  10. Any suggestions to breed and raise fry in a 10 gallon?
  11. I do have a betta it’s not a very agressive one I’ve had guppy fry and it’s not eaten any of them at all so maybe that would work? Ye I was thinking breeding pair and fry in 29 gallon and some growing up in their then I could put the male in either a ten with baby’s and have another 10 for just some other fish so I don’t burn my self out just breeding pleocs
  12. Does anybody know what is the best way to start shipping live fish and shrimp in the uk and what you would need to do it? Thanks
  13. That’s one of the issues I was thinking becuase I don’t have the room for more tanks so I don’t want to breed a load and then not be able to look after them properly I might upgrade to a 29 gallon since I have the space for that but that’s the maximum I’d say but I’m sure I could always pull the male if I got overrun. So I should be fine but thanks again for the replys appreciate it.
  14. How many would you advise I do have a test kit so I can test to see but a estimate because I’m stuck between these or setting up 3 smaller tanks which shrimp bettas and that
  15. Thanks for the replys my only worry was the water quality but now I know. My lfs will happily take them so we should be good on that point
  16. Can you breed and raise the fry in a 20 gallon? I have bred them before but they all died after someone looked after them for me. I now use the tank I bred them in for my puffers. Do you think it is possible to raise the baby’s in the same tank? Thanks
  17. Ok thanks ye I will definitely have good water quality and make sure they get a good diet so they should be fine
  18. Hi thanks for the reply. The tank is a new cycled tank I was going to add a Betta but now he does not want them I want the puffers. I’m not sure if I will get them due to the salt but thanks for the reply
  19. My mate no loner wants to keep his puffers (two)since has too many tanks. He has kept them in freshwater since he got them which is over a year. I have an 80l can I put them in freshwater in that? Cheers
  20. Thanks for the response. It must’ve been that certain pleco then sadly he died but I might have to give it another try.
  21. Hi I was wondering if I could put a group of corys with a bristlenose pleco. I am setting up a new 105l tank (little over 20 gallons I think) and wanted to know if I could house them together. I tried it in the past but my bristlenose killed two corys but he was very terrotial. I have a lot of bristlenose fry so does anyone know if I grow them up together will they be okay?
  22. I have a 4500 to 5000 litre pond (1000+ gallons) pond. I currently have 9 goldfish in there and was thinking would 3 koi or more be ok? It would have enough filtration I know how much they would need just thinking space and everything. Cheers
  23. Ok thanks for the help. If they pose no harms to my fish then I’m ok with them just don’t want them being harmful to my fish. I’ve googled around a bit and think they aren’t harmful
