  1. Oh, yay! I was really hoping for all female. And, thank you! So happy to have these new sweet cuties. I bumped up my glowlight tetras to 18, too, so lots of peaceful activity in this tank! The 3 eBay Labiosas are still in quarantine, I'll probably keep them in there for 4wks before I add them to my other 40g. They don't seem especially healthy. Not eating well, stringy poo, 2 of them always hiding. Hoping it's just the stress of being shipped.
  2. @laritheloud I went to Aquarium Co-op yesterday, got 3 "real" Honeys. Here's some pics of my original Honey checking out her (?) new friends. Can you tell the sex of any of them? I think my original is female, but not at all sure.
  3. She's huge, and active, way too big for a 5g or 10g.
  4. @laritheloud there's a Betta in the 40b tank with the honey, too! I have extra 5g & 10g tanks that I can move Bettas to, but I'm trying to lesson my maintenance by only having the two 40b tanks & one 5g cherry shrimp tank. I somehow always end up with more tanks. I sell one and get 3 more haha! Husband doesn't believe me that I'm trying to downsize (thankfully he doesn't really care, but teases me about it).
  5. Another 40b, they could possibly go in here, but I have a boss Betta in it. Don't think labiosas will be compatible with her/him?
  6. I wrote to the seller, they just responded with "they are not Labiosa". Very cute & friendly fish, just not what I wanted. I set up a tank for them last night, it's only a 10g (they were supposed to go in one of my 40g breeders), but they're really young & small so they'll be fine until I decide what to do. This is the 40b the new "honeys" were supposed to go in.
  7. Oh, darn! Ok, thank you. My lone honey is from Aquarium Co-op, I should have made the drive back down there. Thick Lipped is what's sold in Petco & PetSmart near me, but they actually label them correctly. My fish just arrived, 3 out of 4 made it. I'm acclimating them now. They don't look like the seller's photo or like my honey gourami. Any more opinions? Here's my Aquarium Co-op honey.

  9. Yes, they will school together! I've had both colors together, even had a black skirt male spawn with a white skirt female. They're the exact same fish, just different color.
  10. Hi, does this look like a honey gourami Trichogaster chuna? I ordered 4 of these fish, the photo is from the listing & they're labeled as "Honey Sunset Gourami". I know they get confused with Thick Lipped Gourami Trichogaster labiosa. Hoping that's not the case here because I already have 1 honey that I wanted to get companions for. Thank you!
  11. I'm looking for more java kuhli loaches & clown killifish, do you guys have any?
