    So a lot of what I do is take notes on my phone or take pictures of fish or plants to research later when I have time. A lot of people want to have big mean/hungry fish in small tanks and its important to have plenty of patience and still remain positive when you try to explain that fish A will be eaten by fish B, or the aquarium is to small and perhaps these other fish would be a better fit. And it's always important to ask questions to see if they know the requirements of the fish like tank size, temp, what kind of filter, and what other fish they have or if they want plants then what kind of lights do they have and often it's a standard led which is ok for a lot of plants but also a lot of plants won't flourish so they may need a better light which is a product you could offer to show (still waiting on those new aquarium co-op lights Mr. @Cory lol) the hardest part for me is we get a lot of large cichlids and so many are hybrids so figuring out what is what is hard at times, I use the Google app Lens which helps a lot and Google translate for those who don't speak ANY English... but if there's anything specific you needs some advice about hit me up and I'll do what I can.

    Wow we're excited. @Randyhow did you get from Stockton to Aquarium Co-Op? Were you interested in Aquariums when you lived in Stockton?

    Thank you for the reply especially at this late hour, if it helps Randy's Fish Palace has been in business for a long time and the current manager and myself are huge fans of Aquarium Co-Op products and if we're not approved that definitely will not change. 😁

    @Cory @Randy @brandonnaturally I'm pretty sure I remember Cory saying some time back that not every store that applied to the Retail Partner program would be accepted, can anyone else confirm hearing this? I work at a store that just applied today and we are pretty excited about it but I'm not holding my breath. I would love to see aquarium co-op merchandise in our store

    I was told this plant was not Combomba but to me it does look like it, can anyone I'd this plant as something else? If you need different pictures side etc. Just ask and I'll post asap

    Something you should look into before doing is adding mostly ice in that 300ml of water so it doesn't start the co2 process as much before you seal off the canister

    Should I plug the ends so it pushes the gas through the leaves? Or does it matter?

    So about a week ago I got some stem plants and yesterday I put them in a small tank and added some co2 and a fluval nano light and now there are bubbles coming from the broken end of the stems, should I seal them with something? LoL I've never seen stems pearl like this

    I found these at harbor freight and $20ea I was thinking of using 2 of them. Specs are in the picture.

    I bought a muscle rack 18"x36" and I used half of it for a 40breeder on top with some 1x3's on the bottom for 3 10g tanks. The 40breeder sits right on the lip of the shelving rails so no boards or wood is needed for the top tank and that's been like that for close to a year. I've had the extra parts sitting waiting till I decided what to do with them and now that's happened so I assembled the rest of the shelving unit planing on it holding 2x 40breeders and so far I noticed the bottom is not sitting correctly so I took it out and decided to place the particle board that came with the unit under the tank and it looked better but 1 corner was still off so my next step is to replace the bottom front 36" rail with an extra one to see if the rail might be twisted or something. I'll post more information later if I'm able to resolve this.

    I was able to be on a live stream for a few minutes and asked in chat how to get my lfs to carry Aquarium Co-Op products and someone said something about Cory having done a video on that information but I was not able to get the link for that video, if someone knows which video that is can I get a link please?     Again rubber not plastic just because it won't hurt a cow or horse doesn't mean it's safe for a fish. What I want to do is put some Medaka on a counter or display that is not in an aquarium so the only viewable area is from above. And the smaller tubs are cheap and black but not 100% sure on the rubber part.

    So with tubbing season starting I'm looking for new containers for fish and took a look tractor supply store for new tubs and I see they have RUBBER feed pans not plastic and I'm wondering how fish safe these rubber pans are? If anyone has any experience or knowledge please share. Thank you.

    I have a 40 breeder with a plenum 307 fluval canister fliter. I've had a higher ph than I'm comfortable with roughly 7.4-7.8 The normal other tests are ok but I used a tds meter and found I had over a 600 reading so I checked my gh/kh and my kh changed at 3 drops, but my kh didn't change even at 30 drops so I did a 10% water change and the tds read 470(ish) and now a day later reads a little over 500 I'm planning to do another water change in a few days just don't want to change much to fast so I can save what fish I have left. I purchased 20 cardinals and after I added 5 apistogramma agassizii the cardinals started dropping off 1-2 every other day and now I have 1 apistogramma and 5 cardinals remaining

    So I have a 2"x4" shelving unit made by husky. The dimensions are 47 3/4" x 23 3/4" but I want to put 2x 20g high on the stand on either end with 2 10g in between them anyways they are 26" wide and I want to add 3" to the plywood to support the edges of the aquarium but here's the question do I stick with 1/2" plywood or go 3/4" because of the overhang?

    Just checked my water again and all is good but ph and I did my kh test again and seems to be 0-50ppm but when I test my gh it doesn't register, I've added as much as 30 drops and no reaction, my tap water takes 6 drops. Tomorrow I'm going to do a 25% water change I'm hoping that won't stress and kill the rest of my fish

    So I've started to loose my cardinals I've noticed my ph is a little high around 7.4-7.8 and I know my kh is little light, had a hard time getting my nitrite to cycle till I raised my kh and now I'm losing 1-2 cardinals every couple of days . I have video of one of my cardinals floating across the substrate and twitching and trying to live but ultimately died, I don't know how to post the video here. I see no signs of illness in my cardinals or other fish and other water parameters look fine. Any advice and suggestions are welcomed. Thank You

    I have a 40breeder with 4x Lf lemon blue eye pleco 1.5" 1x large cory 10x cardinal tetra 1x rainbow shiner (only one my lfs had left)(used to keep bacteria going) So I'd like to breed some agassizii and not sure how many I should order. My lfs can get some agassizii but they will be younger fish and probably won't be able to sexed, I would love to find a beautiful trio but I'm expecting to get a number of agassizii and have to return some to the store once I can sex them so I'm not sure how many I can fit in the tank given my current inhabitants. My filter is a fluval 307 with biohome media and a plenum and I have several plants growing with plenty of caves for hiding

    So I was wondering if anyone has taken small bio balls or bio rings and put them in the sponge filter uplift tube? Thinking if it doesn't slow down flow to much it would be similar to the twin sponge filters that have container for the bio media just thinking of ways to improve what we already have not reinventing the wheel

    So my black Friday purchase was this husky shelving unit Model #426007 I need more tanks and this unit with the center bracing and 1000lbs per shelf seemed to be the best option. The unit is 48"x24"x78". Now my dilemma is when I set it up how many inches should there be between the lip of the tank and the bottom of the shelf above it? I was thinking about some 10g and 20g tall tanks, don't think 20long will fit unless I place them sideways. If anyone has any other suggestions and or advice please don't hesitate to share.

    the thing I was looking for was one that was not too deep so fry had no issue coming up for air, yours looks 8"-9" deep

    I went to Daiso store, my mother in-law called the Japanese dollar store. anyways I found a pan that looks similar to what dean uses for his fry, it's white with rounded corners but the size fits the top of a 10g exactly lengthways with 5" of room left on either side of the tank. this could be the grail so many have been searching for. I'll have to post a picture. They are roughly 2" deep

    I've seen some say placing an organic Rooibos tea bag in with your eggs would help with fungus
