  1. I’m recently found driftwood I want to put in a established tank. It’s a 75g aquarium with plants that I would prefer were not affected. The wood has been soaking for long enough that it is probably not going to sink on its own anytime soon. Ideally the weights would be minimal so it doesn’t look like they were zip tied to the wood. how would you recommend weighing down the wood to put in a full tank?
  2. Thanks for the input! I’ll leave them alone for a little while longer and then cut the bottoms if needed.
  3. About 2 weeks ago I planted a new 75g aquarium and am noticing the Bacopa caroliniana is looking worse than I expected. The other plants in the tank including Amazon sword, crypts(I cut off the leaves and they have started regrowing), Christmas moss and more are doing fine. They are planted in pool filter sand. I’m using root tabs and liquid fertilizer, ph 7.4, hardness is a little soft, temp 74. 9 hours of light a day. Is this just normal melting or is there something else I should be looking into? do you recommend just giving it time? Or should I trim the dying parts and plant the tops?
