Thank you... (And I learned how to reply to the post directly!) Yes, it is currently at 74.7. Also took a closer look at the snails. There are only 4+ snails alive. The rest are (look?) dead.

Ok... I wonder if this is it. I have shrimp in all of my tanks, except this one. This is more like a holding tank. If I'm doing "deep cleaning" and not just water changes, I put a pre-filter in the gravel vac hose to make sure I don't accidently suck up shrimp. I used the larger hose for the other tanks this round for just water changes but this tank, I used a smaller hose that I hadn't used in a while. It had sat for months. When Im done with a cleaning, I remove the sponge, rinse in hot water then replace it so it is ready for next time. Either I forgot to rinse it after I was done or I didn't do a good just because I just checked it out and it smelled HORRIBLE. Maybe there was the walking dead plague in the sponge and when I cleaned their tank, I infected them? Oh man....

Thank you... The tank was second in the cleaning rotation and I use the same gravel vac suction tube to empty and the same J-hook to fill. All 19 tanks got the same water and some of the tanks are just as small as that one. So each tank was exposed to the same water and equipment.... wait. Come to think of it. I dud you a smaller manual syphoning tube for just that tank because I wanted to get into the corners. The tube had been hanging on a rack and I hadn't used it for about two months. Maybe there was something on it? That is the only difference between that tank and the other 18. I'm going to go check it out...

Tank has been running for about a year. Had about 10 green dragon guppies that have been in there for about 3 months. I was waiting to take them in to my LFS to rehome. Water changes for all 19 tanks Friday evening. (Ranging from 33L to 3 gal) Everyone all good. Im on well water and there are no chlorines in my water. It's pretty hard water but everyone does just fine. 🙂 Saturday morning - dosed Easy Green and Potassium for all tanks. Recommended doses. Recently got iron liquid supplement because new growth seemed pale. Added Iron to my dosing routine. An hour after that, fed normal amounts and left. I typically go to a friends house over the weekend and return Sunday evening. When I got home last night, the lights were already off. Working from home today, the lights turn on at 12. I grab a drink and do a quick walk-thru in my bedroom where 12 tanks are and saw "Tank of Death". Still crying. 😞 I have NO CLUE what happened. There is a weird white crusty stuff at the top of the tank and floating at the top of the water. The snails are ok. It almost looks like a bacteria bloom. I am not good at water tests (I have a hard time distinguishing colors) but I included the test strips that I have. Of course, ammonia is off the charts because of all the death. Oh man... what did I do? Every other tank in the house is fine. I feel so horrible that I killed them!!! Any insight is much appreciated. Please be gentle. I feel horrible. (P.S. Yes, that is one big heater for that little tank. 1. I have poor insulation and its friggin cold here and I have a hard time maintaining temps 2. I had caridina shrimp in there and it is easier to maintain a lower temp instead of a small preset heater.)
