What is the tank size most of you feel comfortable with for a bristlenose pleco? I have heard and read so many different opinions on the web I don’t know anymore.

I bought 10 cardinal tetras and brought them home to quarantine. 5 died within the first 48 hours. The other 5 have been quarantined for 2 weeks now. They have shown no signs of illness. I am using salt in this quarantine. Should I quarantine them longer or are they probably going to be fine for main tank? Thanks everyone!

First world problems. The value the Aquarium Co-op team provides from their youtube videos alone is worth an entire years worth of shipping mistakes before I would abandon them. They have taught many of us, free of charge, all that we know about the hobby. That knowledge then has saved me literally hundreds of dollars in potential fish keeping mistakes. Not to mention, this forum and the value it provides. From the way I see it, getting a dead plant and then a refund??? Sounds like you can just watch a few more of their livestreams for free and call it even.

I am quarantining right off the bat and using sponge filters as well. Glad I have access to all this information, what would I have done in the past....go to a library????? Haha

I was wondering about that with the plants. I think I grossly underestimated how many I would need to make the tank feel like an actual ecosystem.

I know this topic has probably been covered multiple times in past posts and also in Aquarium Coop livestreams.... however, I have now had my first tank for a few months and I was wondering: if you could start all over again in the hobby what is one thing you would have done differently? I would rather walk behind some of you through the mine field than be blown up myself over and over!!!! I get mistakes are part of the learning process but I would love to learn from some of your mistakes as well👍 Hope everyone is having a great thursday and not freezing like I am here in Michigan.
