  1. If it's viral should I keep the fish out of a community tank? Will it spread to others? Lymphocystis in other photos I saw look like larger growths than these do. They look a lot like a pimple on the mouths of most of them. The only ones that don't are actually embedded in the fish near the tail and look like a large egg inside the fish.
  2. So I have been dealing with this now for a few weeks. My guppies keep getting these lumps on their mouths, sides and near the tail. They look like round sacs that protrude from the fish but they are also in the fish near the tail. What am I dealing with? I have been treating them in my hospital tank for about 8 days now with Paraclense and Maracyn but nothing seems to be working. I haven't lost any due to this but really want to know what I'm dealing with so I can get them better.
  3. Mollies, Swordtails, Platys and Guppies. Also have a Pleco and Nerite Snails for cleanup crew.
  4. My wife and I opened a homemade ice cream and chocolate shop six years ago. We are getting ready to open a full service restaurant where I will be the executive chef in addition to the ice cream shop 🙂 So great to see all the diverse backgrounds of everyone on here.
  5. Hello all, My name is Brent and I have just returned to the hobby last month when I set up a 55 gallon planted live-bearer tank for my daughter for Christmas. When I was a teen I got really into fish-keeping and had many different tanks with varying degrees of success. After watching many hours of Cory on YouTube I finally decided to get back into the hobby and share it with my daughter as well. I am glad to see such a helpful community on here and I hope to learn a lot from the more seasoned aquarists.
