  1. Make that 4 they do look like nerite snail eggs, but you may have cory eggs if no nerites.
  2. Is this your channel?
  3. I agree with @lefty o, I only suck up the stuff that is starting to pile up but other than that I leave everything else alone. Just make sure you don't let the ammonia spike up too much or it could kill your fish but seeing as it wasn't that bad I think you're doing just fine for your first fish tank!
  4. Yep that sounds about right. If the eggs hatch you'll get about 60-200 little guys (not all of them will make it). If you don't want them you can't just pull the eggs off the side and throw it into the water.
  5. I have never had floaters die off unless it was too cold. You could do a big water change and see if there was something in the water that you couldn't test for. Like maybe if when you pulled the wood out it released something that was harmful, other than that I can't think of anything else.
  6. There is a guy on YouTube, his channel name is Mark's Aquatics, he has a video on breeding them. He is a Brit that breeds almost everything I have been interested in breeding. He gives a lot of really good information in his videos and sometimes he shows you how to raise the young. I don't remember if he did or not for the killifish.
  7. That's what the people in New York are doing, they voted for free stuff and they got higher taxes and than leave the state because its too expensive. Now they are going to other states and ruining those states. Is $70 to much for a pair that is 3-4 inches?
  8. I was wondering how much is reasonable for a pair of LBEBs that are 3-4 inches that are regular fin?
  9. It looks good, are you going to put boards around the bottom or just leave it open?
  10. Didn't know I needed that but I feel that will make my life much easier in the future. Thanks.
  11. I just want to know everyone's opinions on canister filters and which they think is the best.
  12. I have came down to the lights I want Finnex Stingray and the Finnex Planted Plus. The last thing I need to know is if the Planted plus can hit the bottom of a 24inch tank fine. I've looked everywhere and can't find anything about it.
  13. Take the wood and sit it on its butt (the flat space facing closest to the tank) towards the back and than plant the plants around the wood. You could hide the caves in the dense plants and I think that would make it look good.
  14. I don't know if you saw but Cory has an 800 gallon with Bronze cryptocorean. He said he had the lights off for 2 weeks (only turning them on for live streams aka 2 hours a week) and they did fine. So if I were to put plants in a 10 gallon with that light it would be any type of cryptocorean. My sister has a 10 gallon with the same lights and a green cryptocorean, it just sprouted 2 leaves with the help of Easy Green of course.
  15. Thank you for your response, I found a guy on YouTube his channel is Mark's Aquatics. He breeds almost every fish he owns. He knows everything and even shows how to raise the fry.
  16. I agree on how shy the danios/rasboras are, my friend had a tank with the emerald danios/rasboras and we would sit there for like 10 minutes and they would eventually come out. I disagree that it wasn't rewarding because you actually had to sit still and look for the fish instead of them instantly coming out. I enjoy having to look for my fish or wondering what they're doing or just not getting something in a instant. Pea puffers are a great alternative because you still have to look for them in a 10g but they don't hide, so if you don't want to wait for them to come out you don't have to. My sister has a 10g with one and they are very inquisitive little animals. Jennifer you should just get whatever you like.
  17. Are either of those waterproof as I have little kids running around and don't want them to knock them in.
  18. I am thinking about breeding Congo Tetras for the experience. I have several fish I would like to mark off my list of breeding and these are one of them. I was just wondering if anyone had done it and was willing to share information that could help me.
  19. Right, I always think about those cost. If they sell fast like 2-3 days, should I increase the price or keep it at that price. My thoughts are that if they sell fast at that price I should keep them at that price.
  20. I was thinking about Sterbai corys since they have lots of eggs. And the color always attracts anyone's eyes, expert or beginner.
  21. Those look amazing, would have the white around or just all black?
