  1. I had something similar happen beginning of winter. 15 gallon tank by a north facing window- no sunlight plus heat loss from the window. The heater had been set to 78f. I noticed the guppies being lethargic and I lost a few. The temp in the tank during the day was 60f. After replacing the heater and slowly bringing the temp up they all went back to normal. It could be they were stressed before and the heat loss was just contributing factor, I’m not certain. It did prompt me to replace my other heaters at the same time for peace of mind though.
  2. And today she had a batch of fry. 15 and counting. Yep, confirmed female 🙂 https://youtube.com/shorts/0kD7CmOg68A?feature=share
  3. @PineSong thank you for that info, I did not know that. I hadn’t decided which tank to home her in after quarantine, the guppy free one might win now.
  4. I keep a mixed guppy tank. I think I was being hopeful that I didn’t bring home another, an admittedly adorable, livebearer.
  5. @Fish Folk those are great info pics, thank you! This one’s a little camera shy. Finally got a little longer video. I think you’re right, probably female. Longer vid
  6. @Fish Folk here’s a short video of it swimming https://youtu.be/B2YIT_WO7Mw
  7. I’m new to having balloon Molly fish. It was looking cute in the assorted re-home fish selection at my fish store. I’ve looked online for male vs female, but I’m still not sure. What do you all think?
