I recently moved and my planted tank was broken in the process. I’ve subsequently lost all of my plants and many fish. I’ve tried a couple stands for this new 40 gallon. Take a look. The tank is not making contact evenly at the bottom. I’m super frustrated and ready to quit… Should I scrap this tank? That is, is the actual tank the problem? Do I need a different stand? Is the actual floor causing the problem? Set up is on second floor and I’m really worried about leaks or breaks. I could use some encouragement.

Don’t have the tools right now to cut to the correct size. Think this will work in the meantime?

Added a new ghost shrimp to tank last month, and this stowaway came along. Couple questions: 1. Guppy, yes? 2. Male, yes? 3. What type might it be (color, pattern, etc)? Thanks!

He hasn’t passed much. Gave him peas but not helping. Any ideas what to do or try?

Male fancy guppy has become bloated in past few weeks. All other community fish are healthy w stable water perimeters, regular cleaning, no recent changes/stressors, and not over fed. Dropsy? Constipated(tried peas a few times in past few weeks)? In meantime I moved him to quarantine tank.

New to the hobby. Would like to eventually have a few more Bamboo Shrimp. Anybody know of any reputable sellers? Want to ensure that the shrimp comes from a legal/ethical collector or a breeder (I know they are notoriously difficult to breed).

I would like to upgrade to a 29 gallon planted tank. Currently have an established 20 g community tank (1 bristlenose, 1 bamboo shrimp, 3 amano shrimp, 5 cherry barb, 5 zebra danio, 4 male fancy guppies). Anybody have any links for how-to directions or videos? What to do w fish btw tank moves? How long do I wait before adding fish to 29 gallon? Or do I have to set up the 29 gal and let it cycle before moving fish? Im very new to the hobby and sincerely appreciate any feedback or tips. Thank you!
