  1. Thats my thought as well, I went with 30ppi for all my filters.
  2. Make sure the faucet has enough height to get the Python on and off. Also bathroom sinks are usually fairly small and some sinks may not have overflow hole in them. I have overflowed a bathroom sink in the past because it couldn't drain fast enough to keep up.
  3. I'd think something like these would do the trick and be easier to remove. A local hardware store may sell them individually instead of buying a whole pack.
  4. If you look close you can see black dots of the baby's eyes in her swimmerets.
  5. For my 110 planted tank I use a 20LB CO2 tank, Green Leaf Aquariums regulator, ph controller, and an Aquamedic 1000 CO2 reactor driven by a MightyJet DC Pump.
  6. I have some where the silicone is barely visible because they used so little, still holding water fine.
  7. Looking for ideas on stocking this 20H. Last month I decided to rescape my big planted tank (see profile cover pic) and I didn't want to pull all this nice Java Fern off the wood. I set up this tank up with a Fluval Nano light, some sand, and a small sponge filter. Its in my heated fishroom so temps are upper 70s. I don't fuss about water hardness or ph, I've always had fish adapt fine. My first thought was Celestial Pearl Danios but I want the opinions of other Nerms.
  8. I use a filter media bag over the end of the vacuum tube to prevent fish from getting sucked in.
  9. 90 Gallon. I like the 48x18 footprint and at 24 inches deep it's easy to reach into the tank for maintenance.
  10. I don't think they list them because they aren't the same quality as the current stickers so I think they only go out as free stickers with orders.
  11. Finally got the elusive Mystery Snail sticker with my latest order 👍
  12. I go by this coop article for dosing levels. https://www.aquariumcoop.com/blogs/aquarium/aquarium-salt-for-sick-fish
  13. Krill and thus Krill Flake contain higher levels of carotenoids, a natural color enhancing pigment. Foods containing paprika are "color enhancing" too.
  14. I've seen these as Peppermint Tetras or Candy Cane Tetra
  15. 75 gallon tank with, Lemon, Blue & Red Columbian, Serpae, Monk, Pristella, and Von Rio Tetras. I've had Lemon Tetras spawn in the tank and a few fry survived, I assume by hiding in the leaf litter. Also a pair of Kribensis and their fry which I'll be having to get out here soon.
  16. I use soft silicone tubing, easy to pinch off and stop siphoning.
  17. I've had this happen a few times, the lights always arrive first.
  18. Houses thawing out, Horseshoe Pond - Presque Isle State Park
  19. I'd build a spray bar, its pretty easy. I made one for my Ehiem canister.
  20. I've used erythromycin and Chemi-clean red slime remover. Both worked good to get rid of it. It'll eventually choke out your plants if it gets bad enough.
  21. When I really want to catch fish easily I wait until the lights are out and when the room is dark I'll use a red headlamp to see them, they hardly see the net coming.
  22. I'm running one on each half of my 75 gallon. One half is connected to a canister filter and the other is run with air. I have a few crypts growing in it nicely.
