  2. oh great, I should stop feeding him for a couple of days right?
  3. Houston we got a another problem!!!! He constipated too ☹️ Looking a the picture I've posted here in this thread, I've notice a lump beneath his gills then when I got home went to check on him and it seemed weird so I made some research and whoala Constipation...now I have no clue how to treat that...I've read that salt could be one thing, then peas or Daphnia. Since I've been medicating him with Api Bettafix I don't know if is a good idea to mix medications?
  4. Hi everyone, just wondering if API Bettafix or Fritz Maracyn are the same thing to cure fin rot on a betta. I think my Betta has a fin rot problem, I'm not sure but from all I've seen that is what it looks like. He used to be a Betta Moon, now his tail has grown so much that I thought that was normal, but the tail is not even anymore so that makes me think he has thin rot. Any suggestion is appreciate it. Bellow a comparison before and after so you can help me out if he is suffering form thin rot...
  5. I have some Albino Corydoras but I didn't know they have different ones, interesting!
  6. I have a baby fry Mollie that came in a bag of fish that I bought some days ago, he is so cute orange I think with a little black. I mainly have guppies but I like the idea of having some mollies, soon I will get some and place them in a separate tank maybe. Nice pic of the babies, congrats!!!
  7. I've use the shells and I think they are great for the 10 gallon tank that I have my guppies in, so something else must have had gone wrong the trio of females and the male were very vigorous and full of life and all of the sudden they all died with in days apart. I've did notice on one of the females while she was fighting for her life, that she was spitting like a small white little tongue, so I thought it might have been parasite? I'm new to the hobby even though I did have a aquarium when I was younger but I was not particularly curious about breeding way back then and my fish for some reason where alive and well all the time, I guess I was doing something right way back then lol...
  8. Hey everyone, I've been breeding guppies for a couple of months now, but my females died after birth. Is it true they die once they gave birth once? Or is just a myth? Not sure if I'm doing something wrong, however the first gen fry came out perfect then mom dies, second gen fry only one 1 survived and mom died ☹️ .... after a ammonia spike of dead fry dad died. Only one female survive and she was so sad, she lost her coloration and I try hard to save her and she did survived. I got some new guppies to the scene and she is very happy now... Anyway I'm all eyes and ears 🧐👂
  9. WOW!!! Nice tanks love the castle hidden in those beautiful plants, welcome to the forum ☺️
  10. 3.5g Top - Guppy Fry 3.5g Bottom - Male Betta 1.5g Middle - Snails only 10g - Guppy and some fry 55g -Tetra Zebras, Tetra Glow, Tetra Diamond I'm currently working on the 55 is allot of space to have small fish but I like small fish so plenty to have fun. I'm being very careful on what species I want to put in there but so far is very fun love the tetra Zebras though 🙂
  11. Here is what I found so far... Are Long Fin Tetras aggressive? Serpaes are known to be fin nippers; they can become aggressive to other fish during feeding. The serpae tetra can be housed in a community aquarium, but you want to avoid including slow-moving fish and fish with long fins, such as guppies, gouramis and bettas. Serpaes do best with other fast-moving fish. I don't know what other moving fast fish, the Zebra tetras are fast too...
  12. Sorry to hear your fish passed away, the aggression is mainly in the morning then they calm down a bit and then some on the evening and then they go back to a normal phase is so weird...
  13. Happy belated thanksgiving, here at home everyone was happy with the new 55g tank and we ate good so the fish 😁
  14. yeap you are probably right, need more of them so they won't be so crazy...
  15. I did my first order a couple of days ago, I can't wait!!! 😁
  16. Hello, I was just wondering if you guys can help me. I'm trying to fill up my 55g tank, so far a have a few tetras but they are fighting all the time I'm not too familiar on how to treat Tetras. I have 7 Zebra tetras (4 normal, 3 glow) and 3 Diamond Tetras (2 normal 1 glow) I know what you are all going to say about the glow ones, but I like them and if you do your research this cool fish are not injected (maybe theyr ancestors did, but that was along time ago) they were born that way and are very healthy and happy. Now being said that they have some sort of aggression to each other, I know they are schooling fish but I'm afraid they don't get along and I have no idea why. Maybe is because the tank is too big? Do I need to put more fish? Probably I do, but I'm slowly but surely working on it, maybe you have an idea on what to do or maybe suggest something any help will be great appreciate it. Thank....
