I blindly ordered a LARGE sponge for my Fluval 407 I recently ordered. Hopefully it’s not too big for tank and/or filter. (I have a 40+ gallon tank for my RES.)

Suggestions on the order of media stack materials for Fluval 407 appreciated. Starting from bottom tray folks are saying: 1. course sponge 2. Fine sponge or filter fiber 3. Bio rings 4. More bio rings. I’m a casual aquarium enthusiast caring for a 20+ year old red reared slider who’s enjoying his 40+ gallon tank. Thanks! Nick

Hello Friends, I want buy a new filter for my elderly red eared slider. Can the ZISS filter be the only filter I need, or does it work in combination with another style filter? If I do go with the ZISS, please recommend what other filter and useful accessories I should purchase along with it. Thanks! Nick
