I have a 55 gallon fresh water tank. I changed from a HOB filter to sponge/foam. I have it set up in a corner. But i see that the water on the other side has little to no movement. Should i get an additional sponge filter. Or move it to the middle of the tank

Thank you so much. Seems the answers I get from internet searches are talking about the tech of lighting. Someone needs to have a Dummies for new fish tanks that would cover everything in one place

I am new to this hobby, a few months. Question is; Can I have low light plants and keep the LED lights at mostly Red on all the time. I need a tranquil aquarium due to PTSD. So, the Red and or Blue light is more calming.

Thanks. I was on the mindset of regular plants, root bound. And, that not taking off the plastic and covering would stunt the plant

I have obnoxious Gourami. So, being new to live plants I want them to not be pushed around by the fish. I was thinking of using the easy planters in the taller plants. Like the Vallisneria

I am not sure if or when I should remove the basket my plants are in. I will be putting some in a planter. The video shows the whole thing just dropped in the planter
