  1. I have recently noticed one of my Peacocks having long white stringy poo. I had some flubendazol (I know I spelt that wrong) on hand so I dosed the tank with it. This medication is very temperature reliant, so I'm not sure if it works or not. It hasn't had any effect it seems (it's been about 5 days). What medication would people recommend for internal parasites? I think that is the issue. If anyone believes it's something else, please let me know what you think it is and how to treat it please.
  2. Thank you, I will go and try to source these meds asap.
  3. The Rams poo is normal though. I don't think it is internal parasites to be honest.
  4. Today I swapped out 3 Purigen bags in 3 canister filters. Wasn't much fun but I really needed to get it done and now it is. 😁
  5. I would love the laser mess seeking laser filter in Finding Nemo. I have actually seen a test strip that apparently tests for ammonia on ebay. I'll add a picture if I can find it again.
  6. Im actually quite fascinated by your experiment. Can't wait for the updates and pics.
  7. Thanks for the tip guys. Much appreciated. Thank you for the advice. It's very appreciated. I'll definitely pass it on to him and keep you all updated.
  8. Need help. My son just lost an Angel fish that I believe had Velvet disease. He added Blue Planet Multi cure which is a malachite green medicine, meant to treat white spot, Velvet disease and Fungal diseases. He also turned up the heat to 29°c and added 1 table spoon of Aquarium salt per gallon of water. This didn't work as he lost the fish. Today his Ram has the same white marks on his head as well as the red mark (see picture). Is this infact Velvet disease (spots too long and protruded to be ick) or is it something else?
  9. Today I noticed a white mark on the left side of my Yellow Lab. I am worried it could be a fungus. It isn't fluffy but just white. It could be from rubbing to hard on a rock, I'm not to sure. He is acting normal and eating other than this mark. Please help me to identify incase I need to medicate.
  10. What is the best way to attach Java Fern or any plant for that matter to wood in my tank.
