I have seen chocolate neos throw purple and there were a couple folks trying to get a line going. Not sure if they are selling yet.

What music are you listening to these days?
Alexa replied to OnlyGenusCaps's topic in Off Topic General
I like most music… too much to list! So I’ll share this album from a band that is new to me. It was fun to jam out to while doing water changes. -

I don’t like pineapple on pizza, but if it’s my only option, best believe I will eat it… pizza is better than no pizza… However I am intrigued by an infamous pineapple/jalapeño/olive combo. 🤔 I will try and report back!

Root tabs in a already planted tank
Alexa replied to Anthony Rodriguez's topic in General Discussion
I place root tabs “around” where I think the root structure is, rather than right underneath… My thinking is that the roots will grow out and tap into the nutrients. (Stem plants excluded.) -
Pasta, pasta water, butter, parm, pepper 🤌

When I was 4, I won a goldfish at my church’s carnival and kept it in a fish bowl with an air stone. Maintenance consisted of me and my mom doing 100% water changes and scrubbing the bowl clean. Regardless of the lack of proper care, that fish lasted for a year, just in time to get a replacement at the next carnival 🤦♀️

Avenue of the giants is a must. Look for the exit after you pass Redway, it’s in the middle of a construction zone right now, so be on the lookout when the speed limit drops to 55. 😅 It will put you right back onto the 101 so totally worth driving through. Patrick’s Point is one of my favorite places for a short hike. Look up Fern Canyon too. It’s exactly what it sounds like and is so beautiful! Edit: Oh these are all in Humboldt County, CA by the way!

Check Craigslist, I sometimes see bettas that need rescuing/rehoming. -

Yes! Gardens love tank water. 🙂 If I use it to grow vegetables or other edible things, I will use regular water for a week before harvesting, to “flush out” anything potentially harmful.

@KBOzzie59 @Beardedbillygoat1975 Thank you both! Here’s what they look like as of this evening. I’m surprised by how fast they’re growing~

You could put crushed coral inside a terracotta pot (I’ve seen them come in black at my hardware store but you could also use aquarium safe paint) and then planting something in it? Edit: Missed the part about corydoras. But that could be solved by putting a top layer of your black substrate maybe.
