Check out the “Breeding Fish for Profit” series. My favorite tip is giving the store a free sample along with your contact info.

(Technically last week…) I visited The Wet Spot! I wasn’t prepared enough to bring home livestock so I got the next best thing.

Those Red and Blue Rilis look amazing. I have never seen them before. Are they easy to keep?
I wasn’t super successful with the rilis pictured, they didn’t breed and ended up dying within a few months. 😞 I am suspecting my water is different from where they were bred.

I synced my account and the discount applied to my cart successfully. Thank you for the excuse to make a “test order” 😛

There are a lot of great suggestions here!
If you implement changes to the tank and decide to give plants another go, I recommend buying ONE of several different types of plants. That way you can see which plants thrive and which ones die in your water, without having all your eggs in one basket so to speak.
I hope you don’t give up since figuring out the puzzle is so rewarding. Good luck 👍

Regarding the drink dispenser: it did hatch an okay amount of brine shrimp. I couldn’t get the airflow quite right and eggs would settle. It ended up being an awesome adult brine shrimp dispenser though! 😅
