  1. I may have just been lucky, but the only thing I have done to treat sticks or branches I've found is to scrub them real well with handfuls of salt and rinse. All my tanks incorporate elements I've just picked up along my travels, so far so good
  2. Can you put fresh ones in or do they have to be dried first? I've never heard of using mulberry leaves but I am surrounded by mulberry trees and I am always up for trying anything that utilizes natural resources
  3. I decided to try my hand at making some food for my fish. They are all omnivores, so after a little research and an inventory of what I had on hand, I ended up with spinach, broccoli, peas, winter squash, blue green algae, worms, shrimp, and whitefish filets. Puree, press out the water, and freeze. The fish seem to like it, but I'm a little worried that I may be missing something vital and alternate with flakes. Any thoughts?
  4. I'm so glad I found this forum! My name is AJ and I have been keeping fish for several years. Right now I am breeding bettas, blue gouramis, multis, and angels. I also have various live-bearers and I keep koi in an outdoor pond in the warmer months. I look forwards to learning and sharing my knowledge !
