I've fasted him for 3 days and haven't seen any improvement in terms of the bloat. Going to get some frozen daphnia today and see if it helps. He's a top view of the swollen area- hopefully this helps.

My betta Bilbo has some swelling/bloat behind his stomach area and I'm not sure what the best course of action is. I'm currently on my second dose of Kanaplex and I just started fasting him in case it's constipation related, though it's not his stomach, so I'm not sure. I'm thinking about salt, but seem to be reading a LOT of conflicting information about its use and if I should use aquarium salt vs epsom salt. He gets super stressed when I remove him from his tank, so ideally I'd love to be able to treat him in there.
