Yes I have. He made the 300 gallon Paludarium with a tank that had a lower front panel but I think the ropefish would jump out. I know custom aquariums has an option with doors in the front but I haven’t seen too many other options with enough water volume. I don’t think I would be comfortable making a tank of that size myself. I will definitely be taking notes from his channel for the materials and all of that for the land portion!

If you were going to make a paludarium that holds 100 gallons of water for a group of ropefish how would you do it? The idea would be to have a large enough land portion for a colony of isopods to live and for it to be sturdy enough for the ropefish to get up there and catch them. I have seen the pond style set up Oddball Aquatics has on YouTube, but I would love to see them swim around in a glass tank on the bottom. My concern with the glass is building something sturdy enough. I have seen the paludarium set ups from custom aquariums but I am wondering if anyone else has looked into something similar. Thanks!

I have been collecting cpd fry every week. Currently most of them are in aquarium co op specimen containers. I have a 6 gallon that I can house some as a grow out until they are large enough to go in my 29 gallon. I have a fluval breeder box but I have concerns about blocking the out flow so they don't escape. When I use a piece of sponge it tends to clog quick and I am worried about it overflowing. I have also read about them being too small for the ziss mesh. Has anyone found solutions to any of these issues? I have also seen dean's fry system but he says this will not work for smaller fry. Has anyone had success making modifications to use it for smaller fry? I will soon run out of specimen containers to keep them separate so I can put the oldest in the 6 gallon together (I would rather not when they are only 3 or 4 weeks old), get more specimen containers, invest in breeder boxes, or set up a fry system. Suggestions are welcome!

What is the best breeder box for these fry? If you're using the fluval, what are you using to keep them from escaping?
