  1. My blood parrot likes getting pets, but like others said, gently and sparingly is best. 🙂
  2. pogostemon stellatus octopus is really good and fast growing. good for fry to hide in.
  3. I'm pretty sure I was watching fish for thought on youtube and he was recommending buying plants from aquarium coop, so I did lol
  4. I was thinking of getting a small bristlenose pleco for my 55 gallon (probably 1-2 inches). I have a 3-5 inch blood parrot cichlid with 5 tiger barbs already in there. my bpc never goes after the tiger barbs and has lived with corys in the past. but will the bristlenose look like a tasty noodle to him or will it be fine?
  5. I used black spray paint, this was for a metal tank stand so I dont know how it would look on wood. but it works great for me, does not chip.
  6. Right now im making my way through the court of thorns and roses series and im really enjoying it, would recommend.
  7. Platys are a very nice mid level fish, they are big and bright and entertaining. would recommend 👍. but also do keep in mind that if you get males too, you will end up with a lot of fry.
  8. Most of the time when im not at school, im at the barn (at least 4 days a week lol) . I also love camping and go at least once a month. And I read, alot 🙂
  9. Definitely one of these dudes 🥰 dojo loaches are such cute chunkers
  10. not to thredjack, but I have a similar problem. My two blood parrot chiclids have been laying eggs, but also "kissing" is that an aggressive behavior? The first blood parrot was very friendly before i got the female (or male idk). but now they dont come out of their pots. should i re home the female?
  11. I have one cpo in my planted 20 gallon and she never ate any of my plants, maybe they have different tastes, like bettas. The only problem I have is that whenever I feed her, my chunky cories always steal her food! maybe I should make a food bath or something.
  12. For context a couple of years ago I would ride this pony named stitch. I would ride him almost every day, but i dont own him. He was a green horse (which means like new or untrained in the horse world). and he would randomly spook at things and bolt (gallop off VERY fast), he would spook at things like a deer, or a scary plastic bag, or just randomly. I was riding him in a arena and we where going over a small jump facing the gate of the arena. so he spooked (at idk what) and bolted out the door (there is a fence directly in front of it) and than he turned sharply left and threw me into a fence, where i hit my head and fell to the ground. after, I saw stars and almost passed out but I was okay. but did get a very large deep scratch from the fence that gave me a panic attack later that night. I still rode him after that, and i still love him very much, I just outgrew him eventually. 😞
  13. are you supposed to do that? never knew until now lol. I have learned my lesson about being careless with heaters though. once I took a fully heated plugged in heater out of the water and only noticed when it started smoking. so in a panic I unplugged it and put it outside. in the morning i came back and the plastic was a bit melted. (I still use it now, I guess thats something I shouldent do haha.)
