Here is a better photo with the water drained. The tank is actually a fluvial flex (9 gallon). No snails or other animals which is what is confusing me. Only a few plants I picked up from my LFS. I will try and contact fluvial and see if it's a bad batch of tanks or something

I recently setup a new tank that I was given and I just noticed that there seems to be some kind of white/yellowish mold on the silicone. The tank is brand new and has no fish. Just some aqua soil and some new plants. I can easily scrape it off the silicone but I am worried it may be contaminated and will harm fish when I decide to add them. Has anyone ever seen this before?
