Golden Pearl have been an absolute game changer for me and my fry. I feed newly hatched a mix of 5-50 and 50-100 micron, then graduate them up micron size as they grow and incorporate live baby brine shrimp.

I love Bolivians. I keep 3 in a community tank and I’ve grown to really love them. Very under appreciated fish I feel. Hope you enjoy!

All the best on getting it resolved and hopefully the arrival of healthy fish! Aqua Huna is great about DOA refunds, but I feel kinda bad for them knowing how careless the mail system is.

Generally they do have stickers that say "live animals" however, I've found that no matter the love and care put into packaging it doesn't translate to the USPS person caring enough to deliver in a timely manner.

I tried one this summer. Just used a sponge filter and a usb nano air pump. Easy setup. Drilled a hole for the airline and another small hole to hook the carabiner on. The plants absolutely exploded to the point I ended up starting a second one next to it to keep my water lettuce and water hyacinth propagating separately. Various duckweeds and my frogbit took off too. Was really cool seeing how much could grow even over the course of 24 hours. I was making weekly trips to the lfs to trade off my propagations and floaters for them to feed their koi. I keep around a dozen rosy red minnows and pond snails in both. So far it’s been an absolute blast and I’m sad the pond season is almost over where I’m at. Looking to relocate into the garage in a few weeks.
