  1. I have a 10 gallon tank with no substrate (substrate removed) that has with detritus worms. I've tried soo hard to remove them by now, including bleaching the tank (not plants, I did plants in Alum, maybe why they're still here?). I used to have at least 5000, but now I'd say max 300 detritus worms now. I've tried soo hard to remove them, and I need a permanent solution. It's also planted, and I've tried using Alum for plant dips, any suggestions to permanently remove detritus worms? I'm alright if some plants melt, I just need ANY method.
  2. Bringing material from a cycled tank, especially a filter would most certainly help in regards to cycling your 10g. However, it would only help cycle it, not cycle it unless used for long-term.
  3. My betta in a 10 gallon planted and is rapidly breathing. Not lethargic, swimming as normal and colors are great. Water is heated @ 80F. Healthy betta I've had for nearly a year by now while living in my fairly well agitated planted aquarium, though just now their breathing rate has increased significantly. Ammonia 0ppm, Nitrate 5ppm, Nitrite 0ppm, Hardness 0ppm, Buffer 0ppm, pH 6.4, Chlorine 0ppm. Please may someone give some sort of explanation? This is really stressing me out, and I really want to know some sort of answer.

  5. You need no special lights. Low and maybe even Medium light plants should thrive there under right conditions. Plants honestly don't really care about the light, just just need light. well.. plants do care about the light, but you don't need anything special like a Fluval 3.0 or Finnex Stingray. Plants should be okay even under Simple lights such as Aqueon and Nicrew lights just fine.
