  1. Haha I will only be selling locally to the Virginia Beach area
  2. Update: I have successfully spawned them, and have 30ish healthy close to 1” juveniles growing out and on baby brine shrimp.
  3. I purchased 8, L134 leopard frog plecos about 8 months ago at 1.5”. Today as I was switching out some caves for some new ones I got, I noticed 12 baby’s in the back of 1 of the caves! (I wasn’t checking for eggs or trappings because I assumed they were to young to spawn) I could hardly believe it! I now have 12 healthy fry!
  4. Yes they could be rainbow eggs, they look very similar!
  5. I got ahold of the rainbowfish legend himself, Gary Lange via band app about a month ago and I bought 3 pairs of Melanotaenia sp Kali Tawa or “Tawa village” rainbowfish directly from him! I PAID for them haha, but from my understanding they are extremely rare, and considered one of the “holy grail” rainbows at the moment. I have successfully spawned and raised bosemani, turquoise, and Blythe river rainbowfish before, and I plan to try to spawn these beautiful fish asap. I am very excited about the project!
  6. The Fluval multi chamber one works well for me!
  7. Yes, but once you have the baby’s and the adults in the same 20 gallon your going to need to do a water change like every other day, I separate the baby’s mainly because of the amount of bio load.
  8. Breed a nice type of pleco on the bottom, and a nice strain of guppy’s on the top!
  9. Nice! My black Venezuelan shultzii just spawned too!
  10. I have a fully planted 125gallon that has been running for just over a year. The plants are all doing very well, but recently something in the tank has started eating my Anubis, and crypts. I haven’t added any new fish in the last 6 months, and the stock list is as follows: 6 bosemani rainbowfish 5 Blythe river rainbowfish 4 madigascar rainbowfish 4 turquoise rainbowfish 2 Siamese algae eaters 6 harlequin rasboras 6 ottocinlus 2 tiger nerite snails 2 bamboo shrimp my fish are fed well, and often. 2-3x daily, xtreme peewee pellets in the morning, and 3 cubes of frozen foods at night. Shrimp, bloodworms ect…. I never see anything eating the plants, so I’m assuming it’s being done at night? I don’t directly feed the ottos or snails, but the ottos are very fat and sassy. Any input is welcome as to who may be the culprit thanks!
  11. I’ve been in the hobby for a few years, I have 8 different types of plecos!
  12. Get a nice pair of apistogramma!
  13. I bought some EBO mussel sticks for my L046, L134, and L397 plecos, they seem to love them but they do seem to get bloated on them fast, I actually lost a juvenile L397 because he ate a whole stick and his stomach literally exploded. (Most likely my fault for feeding juveniles such large food.) now I feed it 1nce a week as a treat, and I crush up the sticks before I feed. I would recommend it as part of a varied diet, but certainly not a staple, or an everyday food.
  14. Hello everyone! New to the forum! I keep 24 tanks currently, most of which are in my garage fishroom! Here are a few photos of some of my fish, and the plecos I breed!
